Course Curriculum Overview

The ability to choose specialized electives based on personal interests or career improvement includes that there should be industrial visits, group discussions. The frequency of minor and major exams is for one week. There are 2 minor exams in a day. Timing for minor exam is 2 hours and for majors it is 3 hours.

Internships Opportunities

career mantra volume9 companies visited for business development role and marketing role. The internship is for 2-3 months and stipend offered upto 10000. No projects and outcomes............................

Placement Experience

From second last semester students are eligible for the placements. Companies visited for mba are - plus91labs, gocomet, jaro education, empiro technologies, nagarro etc. For btech programs - meesho, google, microsoft, futures first, cisco, groww In btech 50% of the students are placed. Highest package in btech is 20 lpa and avearge upto 10 lpa. Highest pacakage in mba 6-8 lpa and average upto 4-5 lpa. My plans after the degree to do a job in operations department.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first semester tuition fees is Rs. 75,000 and the tuition fees for subsequent semesters is Rs. 83,000. The other fees are Rs. 8000. The one-time fees are Rs. 27,250. The hostel fees are Rs. 12,000 per semester. The mess fees are Rs. 16,000 per semester. The Hostel mess security deposit is Rs. 5000.

Campus Life

Aurora, Infotsav fests are held which involes management and technical competitions. For 15 days we can issue the book from the library. There is a sports complex where we can play and participate in different activities like badminton, table tennis, swimming, basketball etc. Yes there are clubs for the students.

Admission

I choose ABV IIITM over other colleges because of its strong on an industry-aligned curriculum. The college location in Gwalior was a good balance for me away from the chaos of metro cities. ABV IIITM as a growing reputation in the tech community and its alumini network is quite strong. The admission process for mba program includes CAT score, Group discussion. Extempore and personal Interview. Cut off for the cat score is above 50%.

Faculty

Faculties are experienced and qualified. Course structure include Btech, Mtech, mba and phd programs. There are 2 semsters. In every semester there is one mid-sem and end-sem and also includes assignments, presentations etc for internal assessment. minor papers are generally of 30 marks and major papers are of 50 marks and rest 20 for the internals.

Interview Experience

Yes for the admission they ask for the cat score. We need to appear for the group discusision round, extempore and personal interview. GD includes 8-10 students and it is for 15 mins. Extempore Is for 1 min and the topic is given on the spot. Interview last for 10 mins

Night Life

There is gym facility in the sports complex. Cafeteria is also there for the veg and non-veg people. Hostel in timings for girls is 10:30 and for the boys its 12:00. Outside the college we can visit fort, museum, snun temple, mall etc.

Remarks:

The university has a membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU). After cleared the CAT exam, I got a call from IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Indore for the interview. I choose IIM Indore as it is one of the oldest colleges and its campus infrastructure drew my attention especially Planet I (a campus environment structure).

The honest overall of the Institute

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible by 4th year for campus placement. The highest package for MBA Integrated is 8 lacs per annum and the average package is 3.5 lacs. A lot of famed companies like byju's, ICICI bank come for the campus recruitment. The number of the campus drive held varies every year as the college invites company till all the applicants get selected and even after that for better package offers. The institute has 100% placement for MBA and MBA Integrated program.

1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. COMPETITION IS HERE, ABV-IIITM

I choose this college since I'm aiming to grow in the Engineering and technological field. Jee is most challenging exams of India and passing this would give me the opportunity to go for a government funded college, which would help me financially. The quality of the education would definitely not compromise because of the academic environment in this college. The curriculum here is designed challenging and also ensures that students know what the industry is and how it works. Professors here are qualified and are graduated from most prestigious colleges of India. The reputation of being in iiit gwalior is great than most of the other nits and private colleges, the brand builts strong reputation. The affordability is also a factor for which I choose this college for. I haven't made it to other nits because I my jee score was not upto the mark.
