Course Curriculum Overview

3

My first choice was not information technology as i wanted computer science but as i took the late admission, the CSE seats were full so i opted for IT. but i would say there was not any major difference between these two only some non relevant subjects. the area where the college can improve is providing the real life practical application of what they teach us.

Placement Experience

4

placement rate in my college was 75-80%. with some mass recruiters like infosys, TCS and some big companies like paytm, amazon and cognizent. if i recall correct, the number of offers made in 2022 was 800+ and in 2023 was 820-860. average package of last 4 years would be somewhere around 4lpa to 4.5lpa and highest package being 13lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

the first year fees which included tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, and lab fees was somewhere around 135K. the second year fees was 114K third year fees was 113K and fourth year fees was 112K i didn't had any management quota neither any of my friends. College was offering state level scholarship but as I was getting money from national scholarship, i was not eligible for this.

Campus Life

3

the annual fest name was UDHBHAV, it was a very joyful and vibrant fest in our college and one of the the i really loved, guest like milind gabba and jassie gill came in this fest. campus life was limited as the campus size of not very large. and in terms of club, my college lacks in this field

Admission

just like every other engineering student my dream was also a iit but i didn't qualified so i tried for IPU, MAIT and MSIT but i missed the chance by a very little margin. so my tuition teacher suggested me this college as one of her student was graduated from this college and she gave a positive review so after doing some online research i took this college. the admission process was smooth as i only visited 2 times for all the document verification and works.

Faculty

4

facult to student ratio was decent, for every subject there was atleast 2 teachers, some subject had even 4 teachers. At least 2 lab assistant, there was no shortage of faculties. my favourite faculty was my 2nd year's DSTL mam, her name was Medhavi Bhardwaj, she was very friendly and cooporative with all the students. Our HoD was my least favourite as she only focus on acedamics not on extra curriculum activites.

Night Life

4

as mentioned earlier cafeteria was neat, clean and beautifull and it was my favourite hangout place. library was also neat and silent with lots of books and well sited area. gym was only open for hostel student, as i am not a hostler so i dont know about night life there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Placement Experience:

Taking about campous placement of my college so this is not so good like it is almost negligibe . If you want job then you have to fimd it by yourself and you have to apply by yourself to company. sometimes few prof. will help you to apply for some companies but most of the times you have to do it by yourself only. As in other colleges you will be elegible for internships from 2nd year is also the same thing you can start your internship when ever you get it. Almost no company visit here for placement but some time few companies come here for ME and Civil deparment students .the placement percentage is approx 35 to 40 percent. My plans after getting degre is to go for higher studies.
