Course Curriculum Overview

4

unlike some other universities the curriculum is constantly updated and revised and reflects the requirements of the current world. the lab sessions are challenging but not very hard. the 2023 ECE syllabus has been updated to provide the students with more knowledge and skill for the outside world. software tools such as tinkercad and matlab are taught a year earlier than before and the overall content has been improved and extended to give the students more experience. the exams are challenging but overall well balanced and they are spaced out properly throughout the semester to give students ample time to prepare the only suggestion is to remove the mandatory attendance criteria

4

there are many internships available in the campus. some of them are available within the university itself like HUT labs and ACM reseach . some of the companies that provide internships are bosch caterpillar adobe campus programs etc. the stipends vary

Admission

the primary reason to apply for this institution is the good and competitive placements and the extra cirricular clubs the admission process can be either through your jee score or amrita's own entrance exam the cutoff depends on the campus chosen and your jee score or amrita entrance exam rank and can vary every year

Faculty

5

the student to faculty (teaching and non teaching) ratio is very good with each batch/section having minimum of 2 advisors. the faculty is well educated and knowledgeable about their subjects. the research labs as well as academic ones are well equipped. and if u wanna do a research project or submit a paper u will find it very easy to get a qualified mentor to guide you the curriculum is constanly updated each year according the the requirements of the world. for example the 2023 admission batch has the new syllabus which is updated and relevant there are 2 primary exams each semester. the midterm and the end semester. the weightage between internals and finals are proparly balanced

Night Life

3

the nightlife is pretty average as the curfew time in hostel is aroung 8:45 pm. the gym facility is free and pretty good and the trainers are well qualified the cafteria is pretty good and most of the items are available there are many good cafeterias and restaurants all around the campus.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.
