Course Curriculum Overview

5

I like mbbs that's why I chose this course. Passion. The curriculum will turn you into the best doctor. Areas for improvement will be leniency in studnets exams. Frequency of exams will be 1 ia a month and pct every 3 months. Teachint method is lecture classes.

Internships Opportunities

5

About internship, there is a pain intership we all undergo here in our own hospital of our college for 17500 as stiffend but other than that. Id ont know about job placements and stuff. I don't know about companies either.

Placement Experience

5

Placements, you work as intern here with stiffend of 17500 rupees and then you have to pursue further studies for any placement as just mbbs is not enough for any private institutions. Governments require skill.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year - 50000 security deposit plus tuition fees Obc 8000 per year after first year and sc / st - 2000 Mess fees - 3000 - 7000 depnding on consumption Hostel fees - 1300 This is how it's structured the fees.

Campus Life

5

We have culturals in September and Tamil mandram every 2 or 3 years. Pongal fest, diwali fest. Range is broad and the library is also accessible to everyone regardless. Facilities are scarce and they have a projector ad technological provision. Sports is there, football, basketball, volleyball, throwball and cricket. Extracurricular are rare because of tight schedules. Clubs are academic and quiz, then cultural. Bands They help get exposure.

Hostel Facilities

5

Lighting, ventilation, cupboards, common restrooms. Meals are good and nutritious. Menu is broad. Registration is for admitted students, straightforward and very affordable. I didn't rend a room anywhere.

Admission

I chose this college because of number of students and size of campus. It's small. I didn't make it to other colleges because I didn't do well in neet exam. Admission is straight forward. Once you are placed you simply approach them with the documents required and just sign up. I applied for coimbatore and theni as well but they are high up. I got the confirmed admission from the college I am in now. I chose this because of the size of students and campus. I did get a rejection due to lack of marks. Eligibility is neet and marks based on reservation. Neet is the only exam. Cutoff varies. It was near 560 for this college for obc when I joined. Admission was simple and easy.

Faculty

5

One hod, one assistant professor and associates. 100 students. You can approach them. I like all my faculties, everyone is impartial. Exams are, internal assessments 8 in number then pct that is like quaterly that's 3 in number and final exam. Everybody passes the year atleast in supplementary. Curriculum is tailored and very relevant. Exams are tough.

Night Life

5

Gym is in the hostel, cafe too. Hostel and campus timingsbare great. The college is on a very tight schedule, mbbs itself is tight and there isn't much time. We all are pretty preoccupied almost always.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
