Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is not about the curriculum it is about the mental satisfaction we get from the job. Hence I preferred this course. The curriculum prepares us for the competitive World as there are many medical graduates per year. The curriculum will be based on development of good practical skills for the graduates. There should be improvement needed in the hospital set up for advanced treatment and college buses are very less for field visit. There will also be 3 examinations per month. Exam timings will be of 3 hrs . Difficulty level depend on the subject and topic. Major exams difficulty will be of moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship will be provided in college hospital itself. The interns are called as crmi according to the curriculum. The internship is for a year and the payment will vary according to the college. In our college currently interns are paid 25000 per month. During internship we will be posted to various departments such as medicine, surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, dermatology, orthopedic, ophthalmology, ENT, community medicine and many. There will be all medical College tournament named tims annually once. There will be many rallies held to create awareness among common people about suicide awareness, drug eradication and many more. This may be either college management or by students.

The hostel rooms will be comfortable, in a room three students are allocated, a cupboard, a cot, a table and a chair will be provided for a student. Meal quality will be good. The mess is managed by students. Everyday non veg will be provided as extras except in Friday( only veg). Daily evening snacks will be provided. Tea, coffee and milk will be kept in morning and evening. Coffee will be kept in night during exam days. Registration for hostel will be easier, it is manually done in hostel itself. Hostel is affordable annually 45000 should be paid. No I have not rented a room or pg.

Admission

I applied for all the government medical Colleges in tamilnadu (total 36 colleges) I got government sivagangai medical College and I preferred it to as it is near from my native - madurai. Medical College admission is based on the neet marks. You should obtain your category cutt off marks to get admission. As my mark is less than cut off mark to ener government madurai medical College i couldn't join there. Admission process will be manual and you have to go to the college to get admission while allotment process will be online. The common elegiblity exam will be NEET. You have to score the cutoff marks to enter the college. The cutoff marks will vary according to college and the category you belong to. The overall admission process will be easier and easily accessible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
