Dislikes
- some of the equipment in the labs was old, and there werent enough tools to work on big projects also they didnt help much in our colleg
- some of the study material was not updated with neew technologies . i think we could have learned about newer thing a lot likw AI annd IOT.
- we didnt have many chances to meet experts from rela companies , i think more semianrs or tlaks by industries copanies would have been helpful
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum was okey but some parts could be better. I choose this course beacause it had cool subjects like embedded systems which i like veryy much. some subjects were useful and taught me things i can use in real life jobs but others i felt old and didnt match what is used in todays technology the course helped me learn a lot but sometimes i felt we did learn enough about new things like AI or robotics which are very importnat now. the exams were regular and mostly one every semester. some were easy but others were hard a and i think i had to study a lot to pass. I ythink the curriculam could include more practical lessons and updated on new tech and maybe the teachers could explain thinhsv in simpler way.also they showed many of these that can help us both develop and ignore the rest of skills and better understand them in very hard way.
Internships Opportunities
my college offers various opportunities that provide great exposure to real-world work experiences. compaies like tcs , google, amazon. during my internship in AVL company, I worked on automotive engineering projects focusing on system design and testing.
Placement Experience
The placements at my college are decent but they could be improved in terms of opportunities fro students in core fields like embedded systems Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 7th semester > several companies visit the campus for recruitment including coginizant, accenture, etc . however most of them offers were from it companies with only a few in core engineering fields. around 70percent of students managed to get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure for ece course varies based on cateogery of admission like ST ,SC or general or maanagement. when i joined , i paid an admission fee of 10k, and the yearly fee was 75k for the 1st year which included tution, lab, and develepmet fees. for the 2nd 3rd and 4th years I paid 70k each year mkaing the tottal course fee of 2,85,00 >students in the management quto pay higher fees around 120k per year while S/ST students pay very little as the governemnet reimburse their fees.
Campus Life
my overall experince with campus life was quite ejoyble and full of learining both aceadmicallly ad socially the campus had lively atmosphere with lost of events and activites throughtout the year. the library was well stocked with a good range of books and journals though sometimes it was hard to get the leatest editions of text books. The library also had online resources that were helpful for research and assignments. the classroms had basic technogical provisons like projectors etc but some classrooms needed better equipment for practical learning.
Admission
I chose this college because it had a good reputation for the courses I wanted to study espically in feilds like embedded systems and electronics which i really intrested in . I applied to a few other colleges but this one seemed the best because it had practical learning opportunities helpful faulty and decent placement support. the other colleges I applied to didnt offer as much in terms of hand on experience or had a lower ranking I didnt get into some of the top colleges I applied to because my exam scores weren't as high as the cutoffs they had. The admission process here was simple. I had to clear an entrance exam and the eligibility required me to have a good score in my high school exams. The most common exam accepted here was mains and the cutoffs for this exam were around 60 percentile. overall the admission experience was smooth and I was happy to get a seat here.
Faculty
the teacher in our college are very nice and helpful . the number of teachers was good but sometimes there were many students in one class so it was hard to talk to tem one on one. most teachers were kind and ready to help if we asked them after class , but few of them are strict and not very friendly .in terms of exams we had regular tests every semister some exmas were easy vut others are tough and required alot of studying not many students failed but some did beacause the exams were hard. the course content was basically good easy bu some parts of it felt old and didnt match the new technology we use today.
Night Life
the night lifearound my college campus is relatively quiet but there are a few spots where situvations like to hand out after classes. most of the facilites like gym, cafe are close by around 9 so there isnt much to do on campus after that excpet maybe studying in the library which closes a bit earlier . the hostels generally have curfews around 1030 pm so student s mostly stay within campus after that time.the locality around campus is generally safe for students to roam around at night though like in any area iits always better to be safe. the collge provided a safe eviroments within its premises but once outside its good to go in camgroups overall these latenight activites and spots help students to relax bond with friends.
