Course Curriculum Overview

3

Some of the aspects included the versatility to go anywhere in this field, and the frequency and timing of exams are rigorous too. Making it hard to breathe. the course prepares you thoroughly enough for real world problems.

Internships Opportunities

3

I have heard of the internship around 3rd sem and 6th sems to be nearly mandatory. The experiences provided are also good in this field along with stipend around 20k per month. And the vast experience gained

Placement Experience

3

Currently due to recession and industrial embalance the placement scenarios are not good enough. The no. Of offers made and companies visited were good but the capabilities of the student weren't enough for the companies to consider them according to seniors.

Fees and Financial Aid

The sem-wise fees are 215000 as an OBC-NCL candidate including tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges. For my batchmates the fees are same too. There are scholarship like birla foundation and all.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience with this college is very good. The name of the fests are pantheon and bits. The range of books in libraries are very good along with its accessibility. The clubs also facilitates well

Hostel Facilities

3

hostel facilities are very good along with the message foods and menu. For days scholar the college doesn't allow it so hostel is mandatory which is a downside in the campus. Hostel is nearly affordable

Admission

I choose bit sindri and GU noida, and had the admissions confirmed there, I choose this college over others for its versatility and diversity. The eligibilityexams are jee mains and the cutoffs are around 90 percentile

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio for my first semester was 1:20 the faculties are nearly approachable. Excellent teaching of Maths mam named Dr. Anindita chanda. While poor behaviour of physcis faculty Dr rajvardhan. There are many exams including quiz1, mid-sems,quiz2, end-sems.

Interview Experience

3

No i dint face any group discussion and interview for admission here because of the other admissions criteria which was jee where the cutoff was around 90 percentile. I prepared for jee mains in my drop year and here I am

Night Life

4

The night life is very good for boys. The visiting of places in a daily basis for gym, cafeteria, public area are in a regular basis for me. The hangouts places near river is very chillax for me. Local safety is also top notch.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement has been decreasing in a few years as of 2024.because the previous year there were only 7 companies for placement but it had placed many students but the problem is internship..students don't get internship from college and have to find by their own. I guess 50 % of students only get placed in bit from each branc and I don't expect a placement from this college as of its circumstances

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant from second year, in first year they teach you the generalised and basic engineering subjects. The curriculum from second year onwards will really prepare you for whatever career you want to choose as the curriculum is directly related to real life work. The semesters are too crowded, the exams happen one after another which just forces us to prepare for exams without actually studying with the purpose of gaining knowledge, this is one apect that should be changed. Also many teachers just come to class and read off of ppts which is boring and takes the fun out of classes, this is another apect which needs to be worked upon. The exams are not really difficult but they are too frequent making you too exhausted to actually learn anything for a long period of time.
