What Students Say

Likes

Atmosphere, Faculty, climate, teaching everything is very good
They also provide separate hostel for both boys and girls inside the campus.
The food in the canteen is good and the price is also normal

Dislikes

It is a very long campus going to other block almost takes 7-8 minutes

Course Curriculum Overview

Almost every course is available.almost 13 courses.With 1500 students for a year.They mostly focus on real world problems.Course like aeronautical engineering, mechatronics Engineering, automobile engineering are also included

Internships Opportunities

They provide internship.they also provide paid internship. I am a first year student I don't know much about Internships.By asking seniors I get to know that it's Internship is a good thing to get experience about industry.

Placement Experience

The college offers campus placement. Multi national companies do visit our college for placements. Placement percentage is about 95 percent in last year. Average package is about 6LPA. Students become eligible for placement in the 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

For first year 1lakh then 75k for upcoming 3 years.Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees everything included in above mentioned.The college accepts government scholarship and also provides private scholarship.For first graduate students 27.5k is reduced in the above mentioned fee.

Campus Life

Only two cultural fests one in January and other in July.The classes are good. They also provide separate labs for every subjects.Sports are encouraged.They also provide many club for every thing possible. More than 50 clubs

Admission

It was my first in list it's best college for the mark I scored.you need to score atleast 180+ cutoff to take admission in this college. Admission process is very quick and fast. They only accept DD.

Faculty

Faculty are very nice.every accredited course is available.Two internal per semester.two semester per year.every faculty are friendly and approachable.They also provides freedom to ask questions and doubt.

Night Life

They also provide Gym , cafeteria, library inside the campus.Everything is opened until 7 pm.Kore is best place for time pass.Prozone mall is located near the college which is the best spot to Hangout.Since I am a dayscholar I don't know much about night Life in my college

Placement Experience:

For placements inside campus we become eligible from 7th semester onwards. there is a minimum cgpa criteria which we are informed. Companies which reputation come for placement drives : Some of them are : Google Microsoft Amazon TCS INFOSYS wipro HCL Larsen and Toubro Samsung and many more. The highest salary package from what i know was 23 lakhs per annum and on an average a package of 3.5-5 LPA is offered to students.

A glance into Life at NIT Trichy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more based on what is the requirement cuurently in the industry and changes are made every year to maintain its standard and quality.Areas of improvement needed in teaching methods is that instead of just reading the ppts, it will be nice if teacher uses some practical way to explain the concept or adds more examples to the slides. The Class tests occur within a gap of month and their difficulty level is moderate.

Kumaraguru - A wonderful journey

A green campus with welcoming nature for all students.

I chose this college because the first reason is it was near to my home. The travel distance was less. And the placements offered by this college was awesome.
