What Students Say

Likes

Fees of course is very less compared to other colleges providing same course .
Being a government college there is no as such 95% or 91% attendance criteria .

Dislikes

Placement at my college is very bad only 3LPA is the average package .
Faculty at college are not knowledgeable enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculam is very disturbed after the covid and they are still unable to bring that on track . I am pursing B-Tech CSE which will make you a SDE in MNC's in future . University exmas are not that tough for a person who even manages to study 2 weeks before exam .

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement at this college is very bad average package is about 3LPA most have to go for off campus even for a 6-7LPA job . Most of the students try for government job or either for higher studies rather than opting for placements .

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees at my college is 76000 + 7500 examination fees . This 76000 fees is for the first year student in which security money is included after first year . Student has to pay only 70500 and the exmaination fees per year at the time of university exam . There is no as such fees relaxation for SC/ST but for handicapped students there is some sort of fees relaxation i.e there fees is 61000 and 55500 accordingly .

Campus Life

Don't expect much about social life at this college we only have one annual fest which is also not good most of the students even not go to the fest you can understand how bad this is . Loaction is also bad no place to enjoy near by one has to walk a long a distance to get a public transport .

Admission

According to my JEE rank this was the best I have being a government college it has some reputation . Don't expect good infrastructure and facilities like private to this college . For addmission in this college you first have to give JEE exam and tyhen apply through UPTAC counselling .

Faculty

Faculty at college are not knowlgeable , barely anything is understood which they teach as all have to rely on online resources to pass university exam . There are two mid sems at our college and the best of two is taken . Internal marks are given according to your internal marks and attendance

Night Life

There is no such cafeterias in college neither near by . There is very small library even there also librarin always chit chat over her phone . Campus timings are 10-5 , hostel of our college is very far and moreover its only for 1st year students only .

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

My Engineering College

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%
