- We have very friendly teachers to whom we can share anything openly.
- We do have proper and regular classes every semester.
- The portions are completed on time before the examination.
Dislikes
- The management doesn't cope with the students .
- No fund is allowed from the college management for conducting programs.
- There's only 8 students in our class including me. 2 boys and 6 girls.
Course Curriculum Overview
The cource I chose is biotechnology as it has higher scope and future They offer us thorough practical sessions and live interactive classes I would prefer written notes instead of pdf The classes we get is not adequate due to the strikes and programmes. I would prefer longer classes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester I'm paying 18000rs. During my admission I have paid 25000 including caution deposit, uniform, registration fees and other charges.2000 was the caution deposit.per semester the examination fees varies from 600-650rs. I guess for Bsc Microbiology they are also paying the same amount for fees.
Campus Life
The college conductes a arts day program. There will be a freshers party for the new students. A magazine day will be held. Our library has a lot's of books. We usually take books for our studies from the library. More than class I love our Practicals. The labs are amazing and so intresting. We have all the facilities there. Sports days are conducted by the college union. Often they conduct cricket and football tournaments. Student portals are done by the NSS teams
Admission
I have applied for National college of arts and science Thiruvananthapuram. I got placed in A.J college of science and technology thonnakkal. I was not accepted be National college. They rejected me because I was having very low marks. I was having only 77%. In my college I got admission in merit. There were no exams for admission. The admission process was very smooth and easy.
Faculty
The faculties are amazing.well experienced in their respective fields. They are very friendly. I'm talking behalf the majority. No one can be differentiated with liked of didn't liked. Their are 2 semester exam per year and models are conducted before the university exams. There are 3 Practical examination for the whole course. 2 students have failed the examination for 2 papers.
Night Life
We have 4outlets near our college. 2 cake shops and an icecream 2 icecream parlour. Students hangout in these places more than our college canteen. 1 km ahead theres a gym. Our classes starts at 9:30 and ends at 3:30. Hostel facility is available. A friend of mine is staying in hostel. I'm unaware of the night life because usually I don't go out at night
