Remarks
Colleges with my preferred course were few and so I chose one of the best from them. A J college was a package of good faculties and study materials. Journalism is not a bookish subject and needs great field practice. The said exposure and practical experience is a lacking factor in our college. Still, the three years was not a wastage of time.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college was so good for my type. That is I worked myself for knowledge and got great support from my teachers. Journalism is not about bookish studies whereas it is something creative and so proactive field with practical tools. Our college lacked a studio facility for making us more technically able, still, there were valuable memories cultivated through the three years.
Internships Opportunities
I had an internship at mangalam channel with no stipend for 6 months.
Placement Experience
Not that much.I applied for several jobs and I was placed as a content writer at a software development company.It is not much relevant to the course studied still I can improve my language skills.
College Events
My college memories will be everlasting for sure. There were no strict restrictions above us and we got the opportunity to expose ourselves and get to know newer things. My course was more good as we had departmental fest's, sessions and other special programmes as it is a more practical oriented course.
Campus Life
We had a good library with books on every individual course offered. We had no wifi facilities for students. The college ground is so spacious and conducted several sports events there. The infrastructure is satisfying.
