Course Curriculum Overview

I'm in BSc. MCG, everything is fine but the teachers, I do not like few teachers, specially there is one of my teacher who teachers in such a way that if u sit in first bench or the last u cannot hear him, even if u stand right next to him u can't hear him. And then they blame the students that we don't concentrate. Other than that course us good lab r provided

Class Size: 41Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course is of three years, per year 70,000. First year I paid 60,000 and 10,000 was the scholarship, second and third year no scholarship fee, so we have to pay 70,000. Total for three years is 2,10,000.

Campus Life

Our life in reva is a bit too hard, since I am from the science block, my block is at the other end of the college it's soo far from the main gate entrance that it take forever to reach there on time, and they do not allow us to use the other gate.

Admission

Reva University was my last option. I joined her because my sister, my cousins joined here so my parents asked me to join here too, and nothing more important, the campus is good, specially my favorite spot in the whole campus is Maggie Point. Admission is very simple process after 12th.

Faculty

I do not know about other departments but I really don't like the teachers and hod of my department, teaching wise most of they are good, few are not, but if u consider about the other activities we sometimes do not get attendance so I do not participate in anything and more over we don't get time.

Night Life

I stay with my family so I don't really know about night life, but as my friends stay there, they say that in the pg road, during night u see all the students from different places coming hanging out with friends, eating, talking, and many things

A true guide to Scaler school of Technology

Placement Experience:

The college is new so there is no placement report of the 4th year batch. but the placement report of the scaler academy has an average of 26 LPA. the internship report of the second year batch is pretty impressive with 96% students did atleast one internship with an average of 30k per month without any tech background before coming to the college.

An unbiased review by a student of SST who focus on Skills.

Placement Experience:

SST is a new enginrering college that started its first batch in 2023. Since the first batch is still studying, final job placements have not happened yet. However, students in the second year (1st batch) have done really well when it comes to internship opportunities. From this batch, 96.3% students around 158 total got internships at well known companies in India and Abroad. The highest stipend offered was around 2 lac per month, and the average is 31363 per month. Students got internships offers from big companies like Swiggy, Zomato, Apple Developer Academy, etc.

My experience with Scaler School of Technology - A brief review

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

Experience at SST

Placement Experience:

At present, we have only 2 batches - 2nd yrs and 1st yrs. So, there are no placement records but at present, 2nd yrs are doing internships. And 96 percent of them got internships. The highest stipend is Rs 2,00,000 and top recruiting companies are apple, swiggy, zomato, etc.

A practical tech first experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.

I did not personally apply to other unis because there are not a lot of other unis which provide similar course handled by subject matter experts. admission process is pretty stright, give exams such as cet for karnataka students or comedk get a rank from respective boards and apply through the kea process and get a allotment for college, according to your rank, for reservation students cutoff is kind of high for the third round of around 1 lac ranking for courses such as mechanical, cilvil etc...Read More
