Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is industry-ready. They teach us all the required skill needed and they dont follow traditional curriculum. So, this thought attracted me and made me choose this course. Here, in 3rd year, we have mandatory internship period which allows us to gain experience and to face real world scenarios. I feel, there are no improvements needed. They are doing good. We have 4 terms in a year. In every term, we have mid term exams and end term exams. And the difficulty level depends. But mostly, the questions will be of above-average level which can be done if studied properly.

Internships Opportunities

4

The name of companies are apple, zomato, swiggy, pazcare, wealthy, etc. The roles offered were SDE 2 role, SE intern role, etc. The highest stipend was Rs 2,00,00. 96 percent of 2nd yrs got placements with 12 global internships included.

Placement Experience

4

At present, we have only 2 batches - 2nd yrs and 1st yrs. So, there are no placement records but at present, 2nd yrs are doing internships. And 96 percent of them got internships. The highest stipend is Rs 2,00,000 and top recruiting companies are apple, swiggy, zomato, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

my total fees that i will be paying for 4 years is Rs 2189000. And the breakdown goes as follows. The non refundable commitment fee is Rs 50000. In scaler, we r provided with bits pilani bsc degree. so we need to pay for the bits too. For the sem 1, the scaler fees is Rs 99833 and bits fee is Rs 52,167. And hostel fees is payed only once every year during sem 1. The hostel fees for sem1 is Rs 1,43,000. For the sem2, scaler fees is Rs 1,39,833 and bits fee is 52,167.

Campus Life

5

we have cultiral fests frequently. Some of them are SST Under 25 event, SST Beats (a DJ night event) . And a big fest called yugaantar is gonna happen in november 2025. Cultural events like major festival celebrations, jamming sessions, inter house competitions happen frequently.

Hostel Facilities

5

in the hostel, we are provided with electricity and 24/7 wifi and hot water runs for 6 hours in the morning. The meal quality is good. we have 2 vendors and its our choice to choose a vendor. The hostel rooms are triple shared or double shared.

Admission

I applied for newton school of technology and i also applied for Vellore institute of technology. I did not go into Vellore institute of technlogy because i thought, i had a better option in my hand that is scaler. Because scaler doesnt follow traditional curriculum. It teaches us skills and makes us industry ready. Even Newton has a industry ready approach. i got qualified for both scaler and newton but i chose scaler over newton thinking that scaler is a better option. I gave jee exam but didnt perform well. So, that was the reason i searched for other colleges and discovered scaler. The admission process includes NSET exam- a written test and a personal interview round. We need to qualify both the steps. The eligibility is student should be 12th passed out with mathematics. The overall admission process was amazing and only top 3 % of students who applied got admission

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1/40. The faculty to student relation ship is good. We have the liberty to reach them whenever we need. Other than classes, they let us know other time we can meet them to discuss doubts. And they are very helpful. We reach out to instructors or we have batch success managers who help us with any issues we have with our academic life. I liked everyone- the instructors, the batch success managers, the teaching assistants. We have 4 terms in a year. And evry term, we have mid term and end term exam. The difficulty level depends. Mostly, it is solvable

Interview Experience

5

Yes, We faced a written test and personal interview round. We had to qualify in both to reach scaler. In the written test, questions from mathematics were asked and questions from resoning and aptitude was also asked. In the PI round, some maths questions were asked and questions related to our goals and aspirations were also asked

Night Life

5

We have cafeteria in campus and hostel as well. And we alos have some games in macro and micro campus. The hostel timings are from 4 am to 10 30 pm. Yes, iot is locally safe to roam around at night. We have some cool spots in the hostel too and most students spend there playing or just roaming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.
