Nice environment to study

The college management is good. Overall the college is good as you get good company (all the top scorers of PET are in the college) and the placements are also very good.

I appeared MP-PET examination for getting entrance into the college. I opted the college because it is the best college in MP after SGSITS. Moreover the computer branch and mechanical branch have very good scope. The admission process is same as that of other colleges in MP, you get admission based on your MP-PET score.

The course covers all the major technologies and concepts that we come across in real industry. I would recommend to add some upcoming concepts like 'Big Data' as once of the subjects or a subject demonstrating all the major emerging concepts. Also there should be more focus on implementation of programming languages that is taught in the college as currently major focus is on the theoretical part.

The college does not provide internship. Only the students pursuing ME gets role of lab assistants/teaching assistants. I am not sure of how much stipend is paid to them as I pursued BE from the college.

The placements are excellent in the college ( almost 100%). However, once selected in any company, one cannot go for other companies unless its a dream company(which included 2-3 companies). Adobe also comes for recruitment and recruit students with a very good offers however they elect less than 10 students. Placements are good for CSE, IT and Mechanical branches as they get core companies but students from E&TC and E&I have to join some IT industry as they do not get enough core companies.

The college has many technical and cultural fests organized by students. Each student can be an active part of organizing committee if he/she comes up with a very good idea. Every one is free to take part in any of the events held by the college. The technical fest is organized once a year whereas the cultural fests are organized twice a year.

The fees is less as it is a semi-government college. The fees is very less as compared to other private colleges in that region.

The students having reservation gets scholarship from the government. Other than it there is no scholarship from the college.

Number of boys are more as compared to number of girls. The students are mostly from MP, some students are also from UP, Bihar who get admission using AIEEE score. Once in a year intra-college sports competetion is organized. Also you can get chance to play in University team. The lab sessions are not so productive, we don't get much to learn from lab sessions as the lab assignment are not good enough.

The hostel facilities are not very good. It is a government hostel with basic needs - internet, TV, washing machine, water purifiers. The food in the mess are not good although the contractor are renewed every year but the food quality doesn't improve. Th

There is a good interaction between seniors and juniors specially who stay in college hostel. We can get books from our seniors. Also they are very helpful.
