- The criteria of 75% attendance compulsory is a bit harsh.
- The college gives us a lot of assignments to write which basically are not of any use.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I wanted to be Engineer. The curriculum is well designed and updated which make us future ready to solve any problem as a competent Engineer. The theory should be reduced and more practical and industry based knowledge should be included in the curriculum. The teaching method should not stick to books.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide internship for 3rd or 4th year students. The students can also apply for their desired internship. The stipend vary on the basis of the company they are working for. There are many projects to work on.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is 150000 which includes tution fees, development fees, exam fees etc. The fees for Category students is less about 20000-40000 per year. If the administration is through management you have to pay 600000 one time. The EBC scholarship is available for general category students and scholarship are also available for category students.
Campus Life
The name of the fest of the college is ANTARAGINI. It is a 2-3 days fest which consists of several days. There are many tech fests and also other fests held. There are separate libraries for each building and many books are available along with journals and magazines etc. The classrooms are also good. There are seminar halls and also digital boards. There are many sports such as cricket, badminton, kabaddi, chess etc. Also there is a big ground and one turf ground and there are well maintained equipments of sports. There are many clubs some of them are coding club, music and dance club, drama club, toastmaster club, etc. They helps student achieve and grow their talent.
Admission
I got selected in SRM chennnai as well as LPU but I choose this college because this college is located in pune which itself is an IT Hub that means its easy to get placement in pune. The admissions in our college are through state exam i.e MHTCET exam and one can also get admitted through management quota. If you get about 91 percentile in MHTCET you might get CS branch. It is a hindi minority college so you can get admission if you get a little low score but you are hindi linguistic student.
Faculty
There is ample amount of faculties. Most of them have done PHDs in their particular subject so they have good knowledge about their subject. The student teachers relationship is good. They are supportive. Many give practical knowledge. There are basically 2 unit test called as CAE each of 20 marks and end sem exams of 60 marks. The exams schedule is montly. The term exams are difficult ones. The curriculum is quite relevant and updated.
Night Life
There are gym present in both boys and girls hostel as well. Libraries are aslo there. The campus is also nice sometimes to spend free time. Girls and boys hostel facilities are present in college. There is a famous temple near the college and it is common hangout place. Rather than that there are many cafes and the campus area is safe to roam around.
