Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is good as it opens the line of business and we can still be able to do jobs and my family recomend me to do this course as they think I can do my best in pharmacy as I was good in chemistry and science. I don't like the frequency of exams and we don't even get time to learn for our exams for example they set out 2-sessional from 25-30 november and then from the 30 november itself they have started our final practicals which ended on 6 December and from 7 december they've put our final semester paper. We don't have time to even revise anything properly.

Placement Experience

2

40-50 percent student get placements. They got eligible for campus placement from 7th semester end. Some companies like akums and etc visits. Highest package was approx 20 lakh per annum. My plans after getting degree is that I will do M pharma from any other university .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for first year was approximately 1 lakhs as ?98850 was including tution fees lab fees and an extra ?1100 fees was taken as counciling fees. My batchmates fees was same as mine. There is no such merit or thing in the admission.

Campus Life

2

There are no such festivals in college as they did hawan on the name of freshers and we didn't liked it. Department library is not very big and don't contain much books but central library of gurukul is very massive and contains everything like vedas, documentry and everything u need. Gurukul is not in sports as we didn't even know when the sports compitition started and ended. No extracurricular activities was found. Some students just do protests against useless things like make girls sit with us and all that.

Admission

I chosed this college as it was near my house and I will be able to reach here everyday. But some reason was that all of my school friends and school batchmates were going to same college that I didn't liked to I thought to change this time ang got my admission in gurukul. Gurukul admission process involves counciling and interview where they check your documents and then as per the seat left they give you admission. Gurukul accepts the boards exams and cuet exam.

Faculty

2

There is no such faculty-to-student ratio. Whole summer we demanded ac from the management but they didn't even flinched. The faculty of history we can say is likeable as it has musium which contains several old thing and old currency, etc. We got 3 exam in one year 1 sessional 2 sessional and in last semester exams. 50-60 percent student face exam back and have to give exams again and again.

Night Life

3

There is no night life in college as gurkul get closed at 5 pm and after that opens only at 10 am morning.campus timings are 10am -5 pm. There is no such hangout places inside or outside the college. The locality is safe as gurkul comes in kankhal which is a very big town in haridwar

Course Curriculum Overview:

The dedication and referral of the loved ones influence me to choose this course, as i have to work in a medical field or as a healthcare professional. The teaching methods in my department are good enough to provide us with proper information and knowledge. Sometimes the frequency of the exam schedule is not proper, by which we have to suffer with various difficulties like incomplete syllabus and incomplete topics too.
