College

Course is quite vast but there is more irrelevant stuff than relevant stuff. We repeatedly study non chordates and rarely study chordates. We are given more subjects like aquaculture, wildlife, ecology.

We aren't given internship programme by the college but an individual teacher may show some interest in helping out with the matter. Research on snow leopard , hangul etc. Any interested candidate can join but the requirement is too less(4-5 students). All can't join. And bsc course doesn't have internship. Pg has.

1st year= ?9600 2nd year= ?10000 3rd year= around 11-12k While counselling to select the course, each course selected charged ?100 and registration fee was 500 All the other fee structure isn't transparent and they take it as a whole. For paid seats they charge around 50k and maybe they have a different fee structure. Examination fee depends on number of subjects. For more than 4 subjects ?1750 are charged. For photocopy of your exam sheet, ?200 are charged irrespective of no. Of pages in the answer sheet. (P.s.- answer sheet has total 10 pages). For rechecking ?500 are charged. In the year 2020 and 2021, admissions were based on merit of 10 and 12th class, but now entrance exam is held.

We aren't invited or given knowledge of any festivals and events. Except for seminars with empty seats to be filled by us. We are short on classrooms.furniture isn't good. We are not included in any sports activity or clubs. Our department doesn't entertain such activities thus we are not given light of the same.

U didn't apply to any other college. I wasn't given a choice i had to apply to this college only. My course has less concentration of boys. I habe already mentioned the criteria for admission in college. 20 and 12th class merit in 2020-21. Afterwards cuet from 2022 onwards. Some semesters are of 8 months while some last just 4 months.

Faculty student interaction? We rarely meet. We are given threats, kept under constant pressure and told to stay quiet. They take out the anger of their failures on us. We are constantly appearing for exams. And the syllabus kerps repeating. Especially aquaculture

Area around college is good. We have departmental stores, mosque for prayer, but a medicine shop is lacking in the vicinity of college. We can buy lunch from outside the college. Even restaurants are nearby and deliveries are also accepted at thecollege gate so one can order food as well. We have a lawn to have lunch in.
