Remarks

I would like to remark positive points for this college. Professor and senior helpful. There is no necessity to come every day in the college. There is no punishment. They try to understand condition of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

They offered various courses. Great support received from the college. They are very helpful. Exam structures are occurring yearly basis. This college is under Calcutta university. They follow rule of the university.

Placement Experience

Many multinational companies offering jobs. They have various source for the placement. Every student get a chance of the job placement based on the ability. Private sectors come to find gems. Companies pay high salary.

College Events

My college celebrates various types of occasions. They hires hall for the celebrations. We celebrate durga puja, Saraswati puja and many more. Then we celebrate freshers social festival. My college arranged and invite famous celebrity.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. This is a fully government college and fees structure is not too expensive like others. They don't even charged monthly fees like other college charged. They only take minimum yearly admission fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is huge facilities. One of them is scholarships. They give scholarship to minority community and other community also. I also got scholarship for reservation category. My college help me a lot. They give facilities to students who belong from poor families.

Campus Life

There is many options for extra curricular activities. We have a common room. We can play tennis , carrom and many other games. We can spend time there. There is a canteen with big area. There is a union's room.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are too much helpful. They help us in every moment. From study to everything. They teach how to fill up necessary forms of the college. They teach how to do the project work correctly.

Admission

After results of higher secondary education. I have applied in this college through online process of admission. I made payment of application fee and course fee. I got selected because of reservations category .

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

Dislikes

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less
Number of students in each batch is more

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

"The Students guide "

I chose this college because it is an evening college and one more reason is that it was close to my office where I was doing part-time. So after finishing my job, I used to come directly to the college by walking. Honestly speaking I didn't apply to any other college because most of the college was morning shift and far from my house this college is approximately half an hour distance from my house and as well as it was closer to my office. The admission process was very simple like other colleges every college set cut-off marks and in that list whoever comes will get their admission. In our college, they used to make 2-3 lists, and based on that they select students. The exam most preferred by students is "Project-based assessments" which allow the students to understand more easily through practical and gain experience. The cutoffs are not so much higher as compared to other colleges. In some colleges, their cutoffs go up to 85-90% but in my college, it is less than 70%, I am talking about when I was there. And about the admission process, they charge a reasonable annual fee once at a time during the admission which includes tuition fees, lab fees, development fees, etc....Read More
