Course Curriculum Overview

3

When i wanted to apply in this college there were choices to choose the courses and i selected my favourites and most common one i.e.(my course mpc). There were 3 counselings and in every counseling i got chose in this very course, from what i heard after graduation is that the college management chooses their own favorable castes and give them the best ones and others the later ones. If you want apply the things learnt from college in real life, It would either be useful for masters or teaching. The difficulty level of the exams quite hard.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are actually beginner levels and are very habitable for students. Since they teach every that needs to be worked on. After completing sixth semester the student is eligible for campus placement. There were companies like Hetero labs, MRF and many. Highest package for our course students is 3,00,000/-. There is around 20%-25% of students getting selected in placements. My plans were to learn an entire new subject other than my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

If i were to talk about the yearly fee mine was 15,000/- and they usually say to pay termly but it is better to pay beforehand. Apparently there used be caste based fee system but there isn't anymore and besides our course every course is more costlier around 28,000/- and the fee amount increases every year for 1st years. Exam fee is only for sem end exams, the main subject would be 300/-, lab exam - 250/-, languages - 200/-.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual event of siddhartha college and festival events. There are also department events like physics event, computer event like these. You will get every book related to the subject in library and there is the simple way to search the books through the library computer. The college provides every facility beeded for a student like projectors, computers. To be fit you can join gym or yoga. There are intra mural compititions held every year in college and it encourages the students. There were clubs and activities held in college like photography club, good habits club, art club e.t.c.

Admission

I only applied for this college, because there was talk that the faculty are friendly towards students and makes them understand the subject. So i only chose this college. The admission process is through website named OAMDC, you need to first pay admission fee of 200/- and select your favourite couses and the management will choose an appropriate course for you.

Faculty

3

The college syllabus and the rules are quite good but the faculty, mainly our corse (mpc) faculty was not any good. I suggest you to never take chemistry. the hod of that department is not educated enough for that position. If you are interested in chemistry better be prepared to study through library, maths and physics were not any better, just good enough, you have to be attentive at times because they usually blabber out the subject. There are two semesters for year and each semester has to mid exams. Even if the sem end exams are corrected fairly by non teaching faculty, the mid exams and lab exams are corrected by teaching faculty and they mostly show their biaseness in these aspects, by taking their own interests into account, while marking the exams. That is all, my simple review would be if you came to achieve something in this college better look for another college. T he only thing you can achieve is simple degree.

Night Life

4

There is no night life in college, the college ends evening at 6 everyday. The best hangout places are ground and cafeteria. Library is a quite place and best place to study during exam days, we gather library to share our thoughts on subject in library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The quality education along with life values and spiritual discipline that one needs in life is provided. This is not found in quality, elsewhere. The course is designed and planned very well throughout the semester. Each paper is dealt with in-depth. The majors that one chooses in the final year helps students to explore more projects and open-ended experiments The university maintains a 1:40 teacher to student ratio. Each student is individually monitored and guided by professors. The university makes sure to hire teachers only with good teaching experience and with a Ph.D. Their explanation and concept delivery are at par with excellence. The term exams are conducted on time. The midterm exams start around 1 months after the beginning of sem. Along with the theoretical exams, one has to also pass in practicals. There is no grace marking in any case. One cannot expect important questions and related priorities in the paper. The only time to time preparation and a strong grip on concepts help.
