The hectic schedule of exams with no more gap between exams than one day
The engagement of students in co curriculum is not negotiable by studies schedule
The technical issues regarding hall ticket, fees receipt take so long to resolve

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all the college has a separate section building for women. Secondly the college is from one of the top national universities. Teachers are professional and use projectors for explaining. Exams are taken on end semester time.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees to be paid is INR 8000 For the students that need hostel for accommodation it amounts to INR 2000-3000 extra. There is no difference of annual fees between any category. Scholarships are given to minority communities.

Campus Life

The sports week in August is remarkable sports curriculum Sir Syed day in October is the sacred festival of the University. Smart classrooms are installed. Music club ,film club ,literary magazine are there

Admission

This college is not about choosing only You have to first register for the college. Then appear for the entrance exam. After qualifying the exam, you have to go through councelling. Then you get admission The cutoff is 40/100 for internal students and 60/100 for external students

Faculty

The faculties are professional and helping There is 1 teacher for every 10 students There are six papers included in the syllabus every semester. All the papers has four units . The exam level is easy to moderate

Night Life

There is a library in the college building with plethora of books. There is cafeteria inside the college with healthy meals too. The area is extremely safe for girls. You can go out nearby for hanging out

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

All you need to know before getting admission in B.A course at A.M.U

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. However the campus placement doesn't prove very helpful. Few people get placement from B.A courses. Students of B.Com and B.Sc are more likely to get placement.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
