- Increasing the college fees every semester .
- Strict attendance rule students must have attendance above 85 % in lab.
- No regular timings for any class it updates every week.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to be in IT industry and BCA is a good course for entering IT industry because we learn coding, networking, and other IT skills which are very useful to be placed in IT industry.Although BCA in Srinivas wasnt upto date when we joined but it certainly has improved a lot .
Placement Experience
After completing 5th semester students become eligible for placements. The placements were provided by college by conducting a job fair in our college though it was helpful still it wasnt enough for all the students to get placed as the recruitment was lower than the total students also highest package was aroung 4 to 5 lakh per annum.Average was around 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The admission fees was 20k out of 40k total fees for 1st year as a fresher after second year fees was deducted by 10k so the total was 30k for 2nd and 3rd year. There was an exam fees for every semester which was around 1.5k also decreases and increases based on how many subjects we have for our exams.
Campus Life
There will be freshers day for the freshers and farewell function for previous graduated alumnies. Also there was atleast one event per month from national festival to sports event our college conducted all including some european style events.
Admission
Well the google search results were like Srinivas University is the best college in mangalore for BCA course also it is very near to our home also its in quite familiar place and there was many other non college facilities near college like hotel and restaurants, malls and gaming hub.
Faculty
The students and faculty relationship was good with some faculties some were not so approchable we liked our class co ordinator named priyadharshini mam she was so friendly yet strict but she was very approachable. Also we had vikranth sir who was not very good at handling students. Because he was kinda very innocent looking and decent man who was very naive.
Night Life
Its very bisy area and nightlife was amazing because its near a mall named fiza by Nexus which was a quite a good mall for hanging out and play games and have fun also there are gyms nearby to maintain your physics.
