Colleges doesn't has particular boys and girls ration. There is no priorities given to gender all are equal

Course Curriculum Overview

Colleges in kannur university provides good atmosphere for students Upliftment. Colleges conducts seminars and wide variety of programmes which may teaches the practical application of subjects. I think the teaching method should be changed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kannur university provides wide variety of courses. Basically arts, science and commerce subjects. From this year onwards university updated its programme with both four year and three year programmes. Students are eligible for variety of scholarships provided by Kerala government as well as central government.

Campus Life

Colleges conducts wide variety of programmes like National seminars project presentations etc. Apart from this college umion conducts cultural programmes like traditional day, freshers day, college days. Also they celebrates festivals like onam, christmas and holy.

Admission

I choosed kannur university because of ease of colleges. Also it is one of the university which enhances not only the academic life but also the extra curricular activities. Inorder to get admissions to kannur university campus students shoul write entrance exam. For the admission to colleges no need of any entrances but the application is online

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is appropriate. Apart from teaching staffs there are lab assistants for supporting students in labs. In a year there will be two semester examinations and the exams are not too much tough.

Night Life

Colleges doesn't provide any nightlife and there is no gym in campus. All colleges contain a cafeteria with limited items which should be improved. Colleges hostels also lack some sufficient facilites.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Highest and Average Packages by Company and Profiles Offered are, for undergraduate (UG) students: ?3,00,000 per annum.For postgraduate (PG) students: ?3,45,000 per annum. Roles Offered:Positions include researcher, technical writer, and analyst. Percentage of Students Getting Placements:For UG students, approximately 4.26% were placed, with 16 out of 376 students securing jobs.For PG students, about 16.42% were placed, with 22 out of 134 students securing positions. My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Peekay college, The heaven of studies and programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.

I choosed this college because it was near to my home so maybe one can say that i took it because of convinence but after studying there i understood that it was my best option like it's so good studying there. I applied to sirsyed college S. N college SES college but due to my less mark i didn't got admission there.
