Course Curriculum Overview

It is designed to be industry oriented and practical , focusing on equipping students like relevant skills and knowledge.It blends therotical concept with hand on learning through labs, project , fieldwork and internship .

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Internships Opportunities

University established a connection with local industries which provides internship on campus.Faculty members also help students to get good internship experience. Roles like quality analysts offered by companies.

Placement Experience

30% student get placed each year.Campus placement start from 7th sem . Companies like TCS and HCL visit for placement selection.The highest package is of 10 LPA and average is of 3 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of my course is 70000.The admission fees is 1000 and there is scholarship for lower caste like SC ST. Discount for general category student is 64000. Scholarship receive each semester for the other categories.

Campus Life

Campus provides extracurricular activities by organizing many events like hackathon nd other.I recently took l Participate in hackathon and won 5000 cash prize. Such events encourage students to participate in other events too.

Admission

Compared to many private institutions....this university offers quality education at a reasonable cost. Focuses on hand on learning like well equipped labs and fieldwork program Campus offers focused and distraction free environment for studying.

Faculty

The Faculty members are supportive, experienced and knowledgeable . Most of them are highly qualified with advanced degree. Professors focus on practical knowledge more than therotical which helps students to understand topic in better way

Interview Experience

I gave the interview for the adsc group which is organised by students.The interview is taken online by Google meet.It was a great experience.We interact with senior and they guide for our career.It was about programming and coding

Night Life

University provide a good canteen with a variety of food.We spend our free time there . There are many cafes outside the University which has spacious and aesthetic interior. Library offers a wide collection of books and well equipped with a silent environment

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.
