Dislikes
- The management of the college is kind of slow

- The attendance system is very strict with 80% minimum attendance rule
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum I think is pretty neat. Although the new education policy has been implemented, it has affected the grading system and made it confusing for the students and juniors and seniors have different subject for same course i.e the seniors had other subjects in semester 1 and now the freshers have different subjects. That creates confusion and we cant go to seniors for doubts as they did not have the subjects we had. Other than that yoga is also there, but which has created confusion among students as the administration did not clear things about the marking system for the subject and students did not know what to do till the end of the course.
Internships Opportunities
It is mandatory to do an NGO internship after first year and a corporate internship after 2nd year of college. Although internships are provided by the college and if a student follows the college instructions and is up to date, they can get a hand on an internship by college pretty easily. Although most of the students tend to search for internships by themselves
Placement Experience
The average placements of my college is 8 lakh per annum, although I am not planning on taking placements after bachelors, I plan on giving cat examination and then do mba and after that i am planning on to take placements. As I already mentioned that i dont have interest in job after bba i havent checked the companies that come to my college for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 3,64000 for first year and 350000 per year for 2nd and 3rd year. Registration fees is 2000rs for NPAT exam. Npat doesnt give reservation so there is no category quota. There is no scholarships or financial aid given by the college.
Campus Life
The campus life in nmims mumbai is very poor as we dont have a big campus and the college hostel is not connected with the college, most of the junior-senior conversastion happen through college clubs. Some of the college clubs are doing exceptionally well while others on the other hand are totally full of draught. It is either very good or very bad, no room for middle ground. Although if you're in good clubs, you get to prove yourself and learn alot about management as well as get a good social life
Admission
I applied to IIM indore for ipmat other than NMIMS mumbai, as it is the best choice for a commerce student after 12th as it provides bba+mba, although I couldn't get through due to sectional cutoff. I also gave examination for CUET in which I had scored good and could have got north campus of DU although I only gave the exam to check the level of the exam, I had no intentions of taking admission in DU as I dont like the crowd of Delhi and specifically DU. Crowd is one of the important factors for me in pursuing bachelors degree, not that important when I go for masters, and that is the reason I came to NMIMS Mumbai
Faculty
The faculty for half of the subjects is Phd and mimimun is masters. The course is divided in 2 parts with the new education policy, as one can opt for normal BBA for 3 years or for 4 years for BBA honors. Each subject is different in exams. We have 9 subjects overall in first semester including yoga. Subjects that hold 50 marks(7 subjects) hold 2 credits per subject and subjects that hold 100 marks(2 subjects) hold 4 credit per subject. There is a semester wise system, 6 semesters across 3 years/8 semesters across 4 years. I have opted for 3 year program. I like the faculty named veerendra anchan, he is our quants faculty and the way he teaches makes class interesting and everyone likes to pay attention in the class. About 10% students fail each semester
Night Life
The night life around the campus is pretty active. As many students in nmims are from outside mumbai we tend to take flats/pg's and on weekends most of the students go out with their friends. And as the college is in vile parle, it is pretty safe to roam around even at night. Food is also available easily in the night. Although some hostels/pg's have time limitations, for boys mostly in private pg's they are allowed to go out at night, for girls not so much
