Is Nmims Mumbai worth it?

I've applied to colleges like Christ University, Symbiosis and IIM Indore. Unfortunately, I could'nt get into IIM and about Christ and Symbi, I did'nt got call from central campus. So the core reason choosing NMIMS was that I got into central campus which is in Bombay, the financial capital of India. Mumbai has broaden my perspective regarding various aspects. During my admission process, I reralised one thing that all you need is confidence while appearing for the interview. For NMIMS, one needs to clear NPAT, where 2 retakes can be given and based on the merit of NPAT, you'll get the admission in whichever campus applied for. I applied to IIM indore for ipmat other than NMIMS mumbai, as it is the best choice for a commerce student after 12th as it provides bba+mba, although I couldn't get through due to sectional cutoff. I also gave examination for CUET in which I had scored good and could have got north campus of DU although I only gave the exam to check the level of the exam, I had no intentions of taking admission in DU as I dont like the crowd of Delhi and specifically DU. I applied to this college because of the location it is situated in the prime location of Mumbai which is a vile parle and the job opportunities are very good in Mumbai you can easily get an internship in Mumbai compared to other cities. Other than NMIMS(ASMSOC) I applied for Symbiosis Pune I got selected however the crowd and the opportunities were lacking at that university as well as I used for LPU and was rejected because of the unsafe location. I tried for Woxsen Hydrabad but got denied because I was not well prepared and the college seemed fake with too many good advertisements. Now coming to the procedure to get into ASMSOC first you will have to take the NPAT exam here you get three attempts and the merit rank can range up to 1 to 2500 for your selection the exam is quite tough and the eligibility criteria is 60% in boards....Read More

I had applied to SSE for economics hons as well but chose NMIMS as I had heard it is better for placements and overall from my seniors I had heard it's a better college to be a part of. I am currently in the 2nd year of my BBA degree at ASMOC NMIMS University, Mumbai. I applied to 3 universities last year ASMSOC NMIMS, Symbiosis and Christ for a BBA degree. I got selected in NMIMS which was my first preference. My NPAT rank was 1112, and we were required to pay the fees in 10 to 15 days. There was no interview around here like most of the other universities. The fees charged was Rs 302000 which is different for every year and there was no consideration given to the COVID-19 and we were charged such an exorbitant amount despite everything being conducted online. I had applied to DU, Christ Bangalore, NIIT, NMIMS Mumbai, the reason for not attending is that I came to a conclusion that NMIMS was overall better for the course I'm applying as it is a prestigious B-School. The admission process for my course consisted of an entrance exam, previous academic performance and some colleges had GD/PI as their final stage too. Minimum makes varied from college to college, but the minimum age was pretty similar, ranging between 16-17 years.
