Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very good according to the future technology.Tge knowledge we get through this curriculum is helpful to opt for a government job.I do like the curriculum but there should be some practical activities which increase the innovative skills of a student. The exams are been conducted in a hurry. Now we have our mid term 2,lab externals, and semester end exams in a row. This is what I didn't like anymore.

Internships Opportunities

4

I specifically didn't know about the internship as I am new to the college.Little but I know is our college provides internship opportunities in relevant companies which are helpful for our future purposes.

Placement Experience

4

The campus placements are good.Only thing is we have to study hard to participate in the placements.Every year almost 50 companies are been brought to take our college students placements. The average salary is 2.5 to 3 LPA. It's good the placement cell and placements. The companies visited such as Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture,A&D technologies..etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year I pay 75000 the college fee and 5500 JNTUH fee to which our college is affiliated. The college fee was not increased from almost 5 years. Other reservation candidates have got the admission only with JNTUH fee and library fee.The tuition fee is 75000,University fee is 5500,membership fee is almost 1500.

Campus Life

3

Our campus doesn't have any clubs. We just involve in sports and in freshers meet.We only participate in freshers and sports in our relevant interests.Coming to technologies provisions within classrooms, every class has a digital projector system and we have a digital library. No clubs are there in our college.

Admission

I have taken a management seat in this college. It was my parents interest to join me in this college. The good thing is that they don't take any unnecessary fees. I like the fee structure of the college.Minimal fee which are helpful for economically backward people.

Faculty

4

The faculty are very much interested and active always to teach us. My favourite faculty is Uma Rani ma'am.She is so down to earth person. She is perfect in class time and friendly too. The faculty I didn't like is our admission officer. He just didn't give perfect information about the fee structure.

Night Life

2

No such actvities are performed in our college. No campus hostel. No nightlife or night clubs. So we just have to go and study and return. No such enjoyments are there. We only releave our stress in sports hour which is only 1 hour per week.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
