Great institute with lot of courses

All is good. Except hostel condition and old syllabus. But they are working on it too. I also dont like student politics in my university. Intense fights between diffent student parties are there from time to time.

Course curriculum is a little old but they are improving it from this year. Exams are held after every 6 month for 3 semester. The last semester is industrial training. I am currently doing it. Exams are also not that much difficult.

The department is ensuring 100 percent placement for students. My own classmates are doing internship from all over India. They are also getting stipend upto 10000-15000 per month. I am currently doing my internship from shimla.

Our department organises one week function during tourism day. It consists of heritage walk, alumani meet, tree plantation and many more things. Department took us to industrial tour of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and goa. Leadership development camp was also organised for one week in jispa, Lahul Spiti.

The fee structure is very much feasible. I am paying about 8000 for whole year. So its not that much. It can be afforded by even poor families. Thats the benifit of studying in a government institution.

Nothing i have got. But they provide scholarship for some students according to their scores in examination. There is not much need of scholarships as the fee is very low. But some students get scholarship. Its like a bonus.

There is a computer lab in our department. Cricket tournaments are also held from time to time. Other activities like cultural programmes are also held in university auditorium which shows the glimps of culture of himachal.

I have not opted for hostel. But it cost 1700 for 6 month without meal. For 2 time neal you have to pay about 2200 extra for 6 month food. Infrastructure in hostels is not that much good. Water shortage is also there.

I don't there ther wont be any other department in university whichhave alumini network like ours. Alumini meets are held from time to time. Our seniors working in industry also provides internships to new students.

The best faculty i have ever seen in any college. The head faculty is teaching here from 1992 and all are experienced in their field. The research scholars are also their doing their research work and also teaching students.
