Entrance Preview

Tamil nadu entrance 269.20/300. Its one of the best colleges for ECE course in Coimbatore. Also had good placement options.

Internships Opportunities

I didnt had any internship experience in this college. But heard that there a long list of companies that offer internship with awesome stipend to students.

This college has wide variety of companies coming for hiring. There are many students who had dual/triple placement. Students need not worry about placements if they join this college.

College Events

There is inter-college cultural event celeberated every year. There is also technical symposium happening every year. Also we have inter-college sport events happening every year.

Fees structure for non-management quota students are reasonable.Its well with in the govt. guidelines.

As far as I know there are no facilities.

Campus Life

This is college has one of the best infrastructure in Tamil Nadu. Library is well known for the wide range of books it has. Even the hostel, sport and lab facilities are awesome.

I was not staying in the hostel. But heard that hostel has awesome facilities , However food taste is not that great.

This college has a very active alumni network which interacts very often and also arranges for some activities every now and then. There are wide list of events that happen every quarter.

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
