"Comprehensive Review of Guru Nanak Dev University: Academic Excellence and Beyond"

In terms of comprehensivness i would like to rate our course a 7/10 i.e. it covers a wide range of topic but lacks depth in certain areas , in terms of relevance I would say 9/10 it addresses industry needs and includes practical components , several projects on Java, C++, Python takes place in our university, which is very essential in terms of practicality

I will be paying 2,80,000 fees per annum ,it's bit high but I suppose it's worth it too by seeing the overall packages of Guru Nanak Dev University, I don't think there is any reservation in our course like it's fees is same for each category, nd i don't think that any scholarship is available for students , only fees concession is available who can't afford but as much i know no one from my class is taking fees concession

Many big small events take place in our university, some of them are jashn , other fests at different departments, jashn takes place in month of October nd November, in which all departments participate in dancing , singing , role plays and many other fun activities, in other fests, dance performances singing performances takes place , besides that several fun games , mini stalls are also there. Our library is one of the biggest library compared to any colleges , it has wide range of books , related to all the subject offered in our university . Students also run several social groups and clubs , for eg cosmogen and cess are two main social groups in our department, cess has several clubs in it like literary clubs , dance club tech club etc they host several competition in our department and have a very positive impact on our student life

I applied in chandigarh university and I got admission there but I didn't want to study at CU because I wanted to stay in Amritsar and study at Gndu. Many family members have graduated from Gndu nd they praises it a lot , they are happy with their placements and always suggested me to take admission here only , moreover I have a single parent , and she is not 100% fit so I couldn't take admission anywhere else , that's also the reason I am studying at Gndu , if i don't get admission here then I would take a drop and prepare for entrance exam next year. I didn't get rejection from any other college . There is entrance exam for our course and the syallabus for entrance exam is the +1 and +2 non med syllabus,i.e. maths English physics and chemistry . my admission experience was good all i did was give exam in university,few days later results came online and acc to our ranks we were called in counselling, my rank was good so I was called on the first day and got my admission very easily

In each semester there are two exams nd practicals ,one is mid sems ,nd one are end sems. Mid sems are of 30 marks and end sems are of 70 marks , rest are the practicals and viva. If we talk about difficulty level of exams then I would say they are not easy nor very difficult they are moderate , anyone who has studied regularly won't find them difficult moreover the viva in practicals is lil bit difficult I would say. rest i like all the faculties , only in our course there are 8 semesters in which first and second semester subjects are not from our department or you can say not related to computer subjects , they are general subjects like chemistry physics , engineering mechanis , enginnering drawing etc so teachers came from others departments to teach us but they are very good , and I like them personally

I haven't stayed late night at our university so I didn't know much about it all i know is that in hostels of university after 8:30 no one is allowed to leave. some of my friends are hostlers and they say that University campus is safe to roam around at night. Rest our gym is good , cafeterias and canteens are top notch and library is the best
