Beyond the book: A comprehensive college experience

I always want to be the person related to tech field and make contributions to new advanced technology so I opted the course Computer science engineering. I felt that it was my so far best descision and my course currently is providing every knowledge about it as it should be but the same knowledge can never be certain so at the same time I'm eager to learn more than this course is providing. As for the course I'm satisfied by it.

There were many roles and various companies they offer us by sending mails in our official mail id . Many senior students already availed if you want to have a intership in gitam campus only I think it is available but I don't quite know the details.

There are company visiting our college so there is in campus placement available the company mainly hires our students are Accenture,TCS and many more the average placement offered by our college is 4.5- 5 lacs per annum. Many people get 10-13 lacs package too.

As per as the guide total year fees for my course is set to 3,25,000 but you can pay semester wise as well. For semester wise payment they ask you 10-15k extra like I always pay semester wise so for me it takes 1,69,692 so overall yearly fees I pay 3,39,385. Which is extra than the promised fees written in the course-fee guide book provided by the organisation. Also they don't charge you any extra fee other than yearly tution fee for things like lab fee and examination fee and etc. In the admission process you first need to pay the amount for admission online only, they provide/ assign you some mentor for the guidance online form filling and everything, you need to submit all the documents online in the pdf form later while visiting the college for further admission process you need to submit all those documents inhand to the staff assigned there they will provide you a receipt or so for your admission in the organisation named file - GITAM . If you want to opt for in campus accomodation then you need to pay the hostel fee that time only/ you can pay it later also . I just paid there only as they were sitting beside (hostel facility incharges) then they will alot you your hostel you need to pay visit to the hostel and complete all the formalities by writing down some criteria for the rules and regulations and overall staying charges which are clearly mentioned in those offline forms They take 10k extra fee for hostel admission in the name of security deposit at the time of leaving hostel it seems you need to ask the management people to return the deposit as it ought to be return in first place while leaving the accomation permanently. Also the return of 10k will take a while and it should be in online in your provided bank details. For the scholarship they do provide under certain criterias as for me I didn't avail any I was only aware of the scholarship provided by writing the GAT entry exam. There is a big social community for students. Known as student life, Under which there are more than 40 clubs. And they are open for other clubs too there criteria is any club which has some 6-7 interested students in it and offers a good social message/ contribute to some extra curricular activities for student can be a official club, also the sports of the university is also very nice and enthusiastic.

Hostel facility is also nice and the maintain ance is quite well but from the starting of my 3rd year speaking of which this year 2024 the management of hostel is very bad ther keep shifting us from our room in name of renovation, I was assigned a room for 2yrs in hostel but suddenly asked to shift to a room of not my choice and which has no ventilation, they keep doing this till now it is safe and higenic to live in the hostel but shifting this much with all our luggage is not imaginable and can't be manage with studies.

The rating and review of this college was also better than some of the colleges I applied to and my distant relative studied from same so I got some insider review and well the results of the entrance exam was quite faster than others

There is a very large faculty group I guess enough for the students from Eve course. Also the examination pattern is different for respective courses mine also changes accordingly. Since I'm currently in 6th semester so the pattern changed for 5th sem But for my course the distribution remained same from first year like - 70 marks for internal 30 marks for external. In 70 marks your mid marks , assignment and quizes are divided, projects and all In 30 marks is the final Papper you need to write for sem end Both has pass/ fail criteria such as you need to get atleast 35/70 to pass internal and also 12/30 to pass external

No everything went quite well, there was no such interview only a online entrance test which is mandatory to write in centres provided in your city . And as per based on which the admission process starts.

Yeah speaking of the night life I'm the hostel ite so I quite go for walk in nightime, It's very nice , refreshing and safe For female students the curfew start at 9 pm to enter the hostel gate. There is a KRC (knowledge resource centre) library which is opened till 11 pm . Also there is gym facility provided which is very nice and free .
