All about GITAM , VIZAG

I saw the location and average placement was around 90% and the college is located near a beach so i choosed this college. We have different types of courses mandatory for all like ClAD and campus placement which helps us understand how things work outside the world and our campus. There should be more smart teaching then the regular books teachings preferred by old professors. Difficulty level of the exam is moderate and duration of the course is 5 months per semester.

We start getting interships opportunities from 4th year and stipend is around 15-20k. Companies like google and microsoft comes to our college as well. You should participate in hackathon and all to get certificates and work on different projects as well.

Our college offers placement to around 90% of the students studying in it. From the 4th year 1st sem you can see different companies coming to the college for the placement opportunities. Different companies comes to our colleges such as :- TCS , walters kluver , microsoft , adobe , Dell , etc. The highest package offered was 65 lakh/annually. After getting the degree i will try my best to get placemnet from the college itself.

For me the fees per year is :- 3,29,500 -/- If you enter college through GATE exam and get under 2000 ranking then you can get scholarships according to your ranks. If you get more than 90% in JEE then you get 30% scholarship as well. If you pay 1 year fees together then you will get a discount of 10,000 -/-.

My campus life is going great we have different fests almost every month and there are a lot of clubs you can join according to your preferences. There are different sports clubs as well where you can join and showcase your talent and you can even the college teams and win medals and all. There is a student life which is a club which helps students in there college life problems and all.

My hostel facility is quite great , i have opted for AC rooms there is one room mate , we get meals 3 times and in evening we get snacks. Quality of the meal is 7 out of 10. You can go for the PGs as well if you are low on budget but there are not so good comapred to the hostels.

I didn't applied for much colleges i just applied for 2 one is DU and aniother was Gitam then i compared both of them and i found out that GITAM was the right choice. I am from BTECH (cse) for getting into this you should have PCM/PCB/PCMB in 11th and you must have scored more than 70% in 12th result. You can give GATE exam organised by our college to get an extra scholarship in your fees.

There are enough faculties in our college and if you say about there teaching methods that it is great as well so it overall a great thing that a college needs. Many faculties are IITians as well such as Parth sir and Kaushik Mishra Sir. Some of the Telugu faculties can give you hardtime as they starting speaking telugu while teaching and if you complain then they will start getting agitated and frustrated. One semester is of 5 months and in that five months you will have 2 mid exams 5 quizzes 2 assignments so the total internal marks for each subject is 70 marks and sem end is of 30 marks. If you talk about the toughness of the exam then I'll say it's of moderate level.

Talking about the nightlife is good for boys I'll say as girls are not allowed after 9 pm to roam inside the campus but there is no restrictions for boys. There is a GYM for girls and boys , a library as well and many food stalls and all where you can go. There is a talent cafe as well where you can showcase your talent of singing and dancing in front of everyone.
