Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was really relevant. It had soft skills like communication, interview skills, CV writing, and other formal skills training and this actually helped me in my journey to get job while I'm studying.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is 30,000-40000 for 4 years course. If you are transgender, it is free of cost. If you are economically minority it is free. Scholarships depends on past achievements in academia. Access go library makes it totally free
Campus Life
Campus was fine because co existing as queer person, wasnt tough. Gender neutral washroom made it much smoother. Infrastructure is under construction and it is getting better in terms of as space. Extracurricular activities weren't very broad. It just limited to dance and singing skills
Admission
I applied at Tezpur College. it was good for me because it is in my hometown but the college had high cutoffs and the ratio of students and facultiee didn't make sense. I thought of BA in zoology but the department was fresh and decision wasn't so worth do dropped it
Faculty
1:10 ratio of students and teachers. Faculties were approachable but also some of them had personal issues with students which made it little uncomfortable for some students to approach. Sunita Agarwalla ma'am is the finest professor who is also vice principal is someone I really admire. She is strong dedicated loving caring and very approachable person. I like her for her bossy personality. She is the queer friendliest faculty in the campus. Bhaswati ma'am was such a sus tbh. I didn't liked her energy neither most of the student. She gave this unapproachable energy and expecting her to be helpful by most of the student was a dream. She was never a people's person tbh. 3 exams in each semester. Exams were easy to pass if you are prepared good. But most students failed everytime and the reason was low attendence in class. Curriculum is very relevant. It has got interview skills and other skills training which are necessary for jobs.
Night Life
Nightlife was fine. It has hostel, gyms. Cafeteria doesn't work at night. Gym remains open until 7 in the evening. Computer were allowed to be used. Apart from that I haven't been so much ti experience night life.
