Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was not the course which forced me to take but the college location and it's placement combined. After NEP has taken into action we can say that some parts of curriculum makes you aware of real world.

Internships Opportunities

4

The min stipend u can get for an intern is 25k , the max was given by arcesium this yr (2024) that was 1.25lac per month , the company which come for placement gives internship opportunities as well , if you are selected for an internship 2month or 6month then u can't go for any more oncampus internship opportunities, u can go for off campus as many u want , the internship season starts at 5th semester, even during the summer holidays. So be prepared.

Placement Experience

4

For campus placement one must be in 7th semester(4th yr), the highest package recieved was 64lac and avg package was around 12lac generally. Around 80-90% of the student get placed. Many Mnc , startup do visit us and some of them are JPMC , Google , Apple , Goldman Sachs , DeShaw , Zomato , etc...

Fees and Financial Aid

For an even semester total fees paid by me is 79300 which inlcudes the following: 1.) Admission fees : 1500 2.) Tution fee : 62500 3.) Development fee : 3000 4.) Lab fee : 1750 5.) Computer/internet : 2750 6.) Sports and creative arts : 2500 7.) Student welfare : 1000 8.) Industrial training and placement : 1500 9.) Examination : 800 10.) Professional development: 0 11.) Lab : 2000 Thus net fee paid : 79,300 + 32,000(for hostel fee) For odd semester this is around 80,300 +32,000(for hostel fee) Thus yearly fee : 2,23,000 Course fee is : 8,92,000

Campus Life

4

Cultural fest is Blitzschlag , during the month of Feb and technical fest is sphinx during the month of November , we have a separate place for classes known as VLTC having many rooms for class , each with the sitting capacity of 120+. In our campus we have facility for football , basketball , volleyball, hand ball , tennis , table tennis , gym , kabaddi , cricket , badminton. Recently a new hostel has setup and another one is under construction.

Hostel Facilities

4

For the first years , we have 3 in 1 room accomodation and for rest of senior years , we get to have our own personal room , for each room we have a bed , table , chair and a cupboard along with light and fan. The mess food is : sometimes it may be good , sometimes it be shit.

Admission

After the exams , I applied to several other NITs and IIITs , but kept this college at my preference number 5th , at 1st i kept NIT Allhabad ( nearer to my home) , however god's plan went with this one , but it was not that bad enough though , the campus location is great , everything is just at the walking distance , and it has many tourist Locations as well , also the accessibility to my home location is also not very far , the placements also were fine compared to other colleges.

Faculty

4

The faculty student relation are good , the faculty are great here and highly qualified, they want us to approach them (???? lol) , they are free if you want to talk to them. I won't reveal the name of the faculty, sorry. We have mid sems and end sems , during even semester, the mid sem take place during Feb and end sems during the end of April. During odd sems , the mid sem take place during mid October and end sems during the end of November or start of December. Difficulty depend on the professor making the question paper. Not many students fail the exam , but very few.

Night Life

5

There's no night sports ????. However I am a night person and I would have loved if this campus had a night sports facility. No restriction for boys for hostel in time , but for girls it is around 9:30 as far as I remember, for campus timings , if u want to go out of the campus , go before 10 and in timings are not there , jab marzee apo. Whole campus is a hangout place , and yeah the locality is safe to hang around ????.

Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
