Like good quality of infrastructure and well observed classes
I have very satisfied with the campus and I have good interaction with them

Dislikes

I think the ground is not so well developed
Also the toilet need to be more clean and well placed

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching method is very good of teachers we enjoyed to listen the lectures of our teachers they teaches us like our kids and they maintain discipline in the class room .. and they also provide us home work

There is Per 2 semester it 6000 fee for all boys and girls students Other fee is total 10000 including all things like csnteen and hostel Same as general category There are very scholarship for obc category

Campus Life

There are very festivals events we do annually in our college example we do phearn day that is our cultural festival on 14th April and we also do international tabaco day on that day we aware students to quite tabaco

Admission

I have other options also to go other college but i choose this one because other college is so far from me this college is near me so i choose this one all collges are same in my area so i went for this college

Faculty

There are many exams held in our college that we enjoyed to do Aslp there were many viva exams also that is obviously important to us... all over i like most of the things of my College but the college ground disappointed me somewhere

Night Life

Gym are also available in our college that is very much better there is also hostel that is very nice there are very big playground in our college there is a very famous place outside of college that is bajwani ground

University of Kashmir- An Honest Opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are very important subjects and topics in our course like Political Science where we were taught about Plato and Aristotle in detail which is very necessary and helps in building ideas and opinions in ones mind. But there are also certain topics and maybe even subjects which don't have any relevance to our profession of law. For example, even if Sociology is relevant to some extent, the practical methods of doing sociological research shouldn't be a part of the curriculum as it has no relevance. The curriculum in whole prepares us well for the real world experience as there are a number of compulsory moot courts, court diaries, internships etc. which are part of the curriculum and ready us for the outside world. The syllabus of our course has been changed recently and I think it is a welcome step as certain additions and ommissions have made the course more relevant. The marks for a single subject are distributed in 80 marks for the written exam at the end of the semester and 20 marks for internal exams. The internal exams then may be conducted various times and the marks be distributed but it depends on the teacher who has the discretion. The written exam happens every 6 months and the difficulty level is very easy.

Choosing this course was not because of any specific reason it was just because I wanted to a law student and I love studying law and I want to become a lawyer. Honest review of Law dept. Kashmir university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not that relevant, as i said more emphasis on non-law subjects, the curriculum itself does not prepare us from real world, as they ask us to do internships in the last semester only. And dont give us any chance to do more research independently on the name of "shortage". They should divide Cr.Pc, Property, C.pc, company law in 2 semsters and some other provisions for smart classes and real life educational/court tours should be organised. The frequency and timing of exams is inconsistent, wasted 6 months in our first year.. i.e our batch is 6 months behind our peers studying in other universities.

Best college for study

Placement Experience:

As you pass your 6 semesters you are eligible for placements. A lot of companies and firms are visited in college and provide a package of 3 lakh to 5 lakh. At least 50% of students get placements and I also get a placement in a law firm.

University of Kashmir- An Honest Opinion.

I had applied in M.S Ramaiah College in Bengaluru and also St. Joseph University in Bangalore and got. confirmed admission from them but I chose my university over them since I can stay home and not have shift to a different place. The law department of our University is one of the remarkable and historical law institutions throughout the country and has given birth to various extra ordinary achievers over the years. The admission process of our college includes an entrance test which includes multiple choice questions. The paper is of 60 marks and invludes questions from English, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics.
