Real life in Doon university

I choose BA Spanish because learning a new language is very interesting and languages also provides a good opportunity and placements too. Our faculty mainly focus on building the skills like language Reading, writing, speaking and listening Not only theoretical knowledge. But university is try completed the in just four months and it is difficult to learn and complete the syllabus and give the exams and assignments.

There is no internship opportunities provided by university in my course but some of friends from other departments they go on internships provided by the university and some of the internships are compulsory for the students.

After 5 semester, students are become eligible for campus placements. Companies like amazon, accenture decathlon etc Around 5 students get placed per language Other placed in low income companies. Highest package- 13.92 laks Average package- 4.6 laks I tryy best to get selected in good MNC

Per Semester- 17000, yearly- 34000 In NEP, we have 4 years of graduation so, Complete course fees- 34000*4 =-136.000 And fees is increasing at all... Hostel fee Per semester - around 25000, yearly-50000

Campus life is best in doon university. We celebrated all festivals and included mountain's festivals. A range of books available in the library and a new library is building right now. Sports is not that good but university offers a lots of sports There are different cultural cubs for the students

I live in hostel and i can say this is the best decision of my life. Hostel life is very good and like full freedom we have in the hostel We have single room good for personal time and study with the hostel fun.

I don't want join the private university because they are vey expensive. So, i give the entrance exam for the government universities like Jnu but not get selected and selected in doon university. For Doon university, i give doon university entrance exam and get 61marks that's is enough for selected

There is limited seats. So, faculty to students ratio is good. But sometime temporary teachers left the university. Most of teachers are very friendly and helpful towards students but some teachers are not helpful like our seema ma'am. Per semester, we have two exam and one assignment followed Mid-term - 30 marks End - term - 50 marks Assignment- 20 marks So, 100 marks per subject in the semester.

College timing for non-hostellers students 9pm-5am and for hostel students we can campus is closed after 10 pm There is a gym in the hostel , a cafeteria in the campus but a lot outside the University campus In Dehradun or near doon we have a lots of hangout places.
