The faculties are excellent and there is good ecosystem of engineering as there are two engineering colleges in the campus.
Affordable fees as compare to other engineering college
Great management of college the exams occurs timely and managed well.

Dislikes

Over crowd in the campus, the intake is been increased every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The engineering field is an interesting field and as tech enthusiast and a young technocrat i am also very much interested in computer sciences, so i chose to pursue B .tech from computer science and engineering. The curriculum of computer science branch teaches all aspects of software technology and services. The timing of exams are well organised as they occur timely.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is known for it's curricular achievements along with many glorious achievements. Fees of college yearly : Rs. 117000 yearly including bus facilities all over bhopal. Several scholarships are available for students to encourage the economic potential. Fees of all categories are same except tution fee waiver i.e. TFW.

Campus Life

Events like Techfizz and many other techfests are held in every 6 months usually on time along with many other events. The college has a huge Library space with all kinds of books, journals and articles. The college has digital library with an access of DTU delhi and IIT kanpur digital library. Nodal games held every year which creates the interest in students to participate in various games and sports to showcase their talent. The college has around 12 -18 in house clubs i.e. E-cell, SAC, NSS and etc.

Admission

I applied in many colleges but i got admission here as i have filled the form of my choice so it's good that i got admitted here as i ranked this college in 3rd which i made after reviewing my JEE marks.

Faculty

The is over crowd this year as the intake of admission this year was increased, hence this leads to over crowd problem in college. The faculty to student ratio is not that good it's around 40:1 this is because as I mentioned above. The faculty is great like they are very serious in curricular results and encourages students to perform good. There are 5 unit test held in every semester and 2 mid semester exams in every semester. The level of exam is moderate not that tough

Interview Experience

GD is the most important thing of every placement drive and so far students also struggle to clear the GD rounds of placement drives so for this the college has Training and Placement cell which helps the students at every point to be eligible for the interview after clearing GD.

Night Life

The college campus is huge with inhouse hostel facility for students as there are 3 hostels in the campus one for boys and other 2 for girls. The hostel has gym facilities along with study hall for students to study along with Library. The hostel timings are good. The college campus is Fully surrounded by CCTV camera and security guards and warden in the campus. The college has Nescafe canteen to chill with friends and had a common sitting area which is somewhere like a garden.

Simply outstanding

Placement Experience:

If we're talking about placements so students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Many of companies came to my college to hier students and companies like yash technologies, wipro , infosys etc. Students get highest package of 12lpa and average package of 3lpa. 90% of students got placed and remaining 10% are those who didn't sit in placement and some of them who want to do higher studies. My plan is to get a good job at a good position in a reputed company

Overall nice infrastructure of my college and also affordable.

The placements cell at our college is very active,and students typically become eligible to participate in campus drives starting from 6th and 7th semester.Every year,several reputed companies such as TCS,Infosys,or local firms visit the campus,making a significant number of offers to our batch.

Like to learn new thing..

Placement Experience:

The college placement is quite average upto 14 15 lakh.there are so many companies like Infosys. Etc visited for placement every year. Students became eligible for internship in 5th semester and wil get placement in 4th year.i planned to became successful software engineer.

My college placement is very low to high. Minimum package is 150000lacks and highest package is 130000 lacks. And off campus placement is 5300000 lacks. My college students is rejected by minimum package.

Placement Experience:

Placement os this college is quite decent as compare to other iiits .i thinkl from 6th smester students become eligible for placements . name of companies include atlassian , zomato, synosin, etc came. As per the iiitbhopal website 2025 placements ; the highest package is 85lpa and the avg is 15lpa . and 85 percent people is got placed . my plans after getting degree is looking for high paying job as i have invested too much money on this degree.

2-3 onwards Google nvidia naggaro amazon Highest package was 82 lpa Avg I think is 12 lpa but you have to get 8 cgpa to be able to sit in placement I think get a good placement and then some other plans

Placement Experience:

Placements are based on the training as some students opt out. The companies these days have an assessment test and it's because of that they choose the candidates. That is followed by an interview and our department prepares us for that and those who does well or showcase themselves well get in excess of 10 lakhs easily.

Placement Experience:

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Jee scores as rankers between 30 to 50k are wlecomed here with open arms. So, on that basis and even the state entrance both are fine. For CSE though, in the bracket that is decided, the top end is reserved for CSE students. Also, our college doesnt have that many branches alright. My college is avarage

I chose this college because I wasn’t getting admission anywhere else. I wanted to get into lnct, but my JEE Main score wasn’t high enough for admission there.
