What Students Say
Likes
- I feel good, and along with that, the behavior of the teachers towards the students is also quite nice. All the teachers speak politely with everyone.
- The college has a proper dress code that students follow, and they also adhere to the rules and regulations. I liked this because it maintains discipline.
- I also liked this. The faculty teaches well, the study environment is good, and both girls and boys are treated equally.
Dislikes
- The campus is built in a very small area; it is not a big college. It is also quite dirty, and it seems like it hasn't been maintained for a long time. The college campus feels very congested and small.
- Some toilets have no glass, some have broken window panes, and some are completely damaged. Proper cleanliness is also not maintained, and the toilets remain quite dirty and broken. I did not like the toilets there.
- The sports room is just there for show; it is not used for anything. No sports events are ever organized, and if you ask for any equipment from the sports room, they don’t provide it. They also don’t offer any equipment for playing. This was disappoi
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a student of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at my college. I chose this branch because it has a great future scope. You already know about AI—Artificial Intelligence! And the college faculty doesn't teach subjects related to this course at all. They teach Mechanical, Civil, and other subjects instead. They should add at least two to three lectures related to my course in the curriculum so that I can study what is relevant to my field and useful for placements.
Placement Experience
Yes, companies do come to the college for placements. Once you complete your four-year B.Tech degree, you become eligible for placements. But there is no clear information about when placements happen, how many companies visit, how many students get placed, what the highest and average packages are, or which companies come and when. I have noticed that even when companies do visit, students are not properly informed. Since I joined, I have only seen two companies come for placements. There is no transparency about how many students got placed or what packages they received. No one provides clear details about whether placements were good or not. Overall, the college placements are just normal and average, and I didn’t find them impressive.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay my fees semester-wise, in two installments of ?50,000 each. The fees remain fixed and do not increase or decrease over time. The fee structure includes everything, such as lab fees, development fees, tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, and admission fees. Apart from this, there are no additional charges for any activities. The only extra expense is for the RGPV exam form. This is the kind of fee structure some colleges follow.
Campus Life
My overall experience at the college has been just normal. I haven’t really enjoyed it, and I don’t think I will in the future either. There are no activities, no experiences, nothing special about the college. It’s a small campus—if you walk around, you can cover the entire college in just two minutes. Overall, my experience has been disappointing. I don’t like the college. The infrastructure is also just average, and nothing feels like a real college experience. It actually feels more like studying in a regular school rather than a proper college. So, my overall experience has been normal and unimpressive.
Admission
I chose this college because I wasn’t getting admission anywhere else. I wanted to get into lnct, but my JEE Main score wasn’t high enough for admission there. So, I had no choice but to take admission in this college. Apart from lnct, this is the only good college in Bhopal; the rest are not up to the mark. I have also heard from many people that in Bhopal, only lnct and Intel are considered good colleges.
Faculty
The bond between teachers and students in the college is quite good. All faculty members interact well with the students and communicate respectfully. Even other college staff members, including HODs, treat each student with politeness. The course structure is well-organized, with studies conducted semester-wise. The faculty environment is also good, and exams are conducted properly.
Night Life
Hello! I don’t stay in the college or on the campus, so I have no idea what the college environment is like at night. Since I don’t live there, I haven’t experienced how the campus feels after dark. So far, no annual function has been organized, which could have given me an idea of how the college looks and feels at night. Whenever such an event is held in the future, I’ll get a chance to see what kind of experience it offers at night.
