Remarks
Facilities must be improved. Maintain the college infrastructure well. Bring more companies so we get our money back later in the form of a job. Hire more teachers. Improve the sport facilities. Need to provide fund to students for events.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm pursuing my career in mechanical engineering. Which is one the prominent core sector. Exams are divided in two semesters per year with two mid terms every semester. So for engineering l, I have went through 8 semester to complete the degree.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are extremely poor. You can't except companies to visit our campus for recruitment. Last year there are 1 company visited which is paying fairly low to fresher. We have to take off campus placements.
College Events
There are not so many events. But yes we celebrate our major fest each year which includes cultural activities to sports, competitions to technical talent hunts. This is the only event we wait every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes in one word to say it is comparably expensive. Thia college is situated in a desert kind of area where you get not so much facilities. I just took the admission because It is a government college but the fees are literally so high.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no direct scholarship provided by the college. But the state govt. do some good job to cash on a few students but on the basis of their caste... again worst. There is no direct loan facility provided by the college. You have to go outside to get a good loan.
Campus Life
Labs are poorly maintained, and literally you should say them store instead of labs. We barely attend labs in second year till than we are short of equipments in labs. For sports and extracurricular activities they again fall short because of out of facilities.
Hostel Facilities
The worst! I never took the government hostel. Because they are way too tidy and smelly. The food also taste bad. So most of students live outside of college campus which is basically a PG and join a nearby mess for food. We routinely change it for the better quality.
Alumni/Alumna
We don't have any alumni network. Seniors are helpful and it all depends on you. How's your senior network good is. If you know senior well they will always ready to help you. And yes there is no ragging in this college.
Faculty
Overall they are good. Earlier we don't have too good faculties. But last year we some changes. In total every department has provided 3 new iitian teachers. Which is serving well to each branch. They really add value to the classroom with their efforts. But still many things need to change.
