My Exposure at NSU

The accounting part relates me with my future aspect and career , the curriculum gives you only the knowledge to understand the logic behind it like why do we need it ,how and why and rest things like how to apply it in the real world depends upon your capacity to learn . The areas of improvement lies in to make the curriculum more relevant and related to the real world scenarios and tasks because ultimately we need to work as professionals .

Metvy , Hiery,E &Y, MCkinely Rice RSD finance and many more local companies offer their internship opportunities in various roles like business development associate, finance assistant and associate, content writer, human resource , social media marketing and the stipend is based on the individual performance as the stipend differs from company to company.

From 5th semester the students become eligible to apply for internships and if they perform good they even get pre placement offers from the company in which you are doing your internship. Many reputed companies like Puma, E&Y and local companies also approach college and offers a wide range of positions. The number of students getting placed is still getting better and there are more improvement that needs to be done.

The yearly fee I paid was 46,000 which included soft skills also. If you are applying for the college then it's 500 for the application form and there are scholarships for Sc,st and OBC ,they need to follow a process and a certain percentage they need to secure and then they become eligible for the scholarship.

There is an annual event which is known as Xplore where several students from different colleges can participate in various events. Moreover there are many intra events like Ujjvala mahotsav, Ranneti and many more . The facilities of the college are great and just needs to be maintained in a proper way

I applied to several private universities in my college but there were no transportation facilities available or it was too much so I preferred to take admission in this college. The admission process is very quick ,easy and simple as you need to be eligible for the course you are applying for , you fill in the application form and join the college.

The faculty student relationship is nice and interactive. I'm enrolled in Bcom (hons) which has 6 six semesters and 2 exams (external and internal )and 1 project in each semester. The exam is not too difficult. Less than 5 percent students fail . The faculty members teaches in a way that it gets in the brain in one stroke with live experiences and industry related case studies, data and project which makes the concept much more easier to understand and grasp at one go.

The library facilities are available and open all the time for hostel students. Students can hangout in the garden which offers a perfect scenic view of mountains , clear sky and sunset. The classes are conducted in two shifts one in the morning and the second in the afternoon. In the morning Diploma, BCA, MCA and science courses are conducted while in the afternoon Commerce ,law and management courses are carried on.
