- I liked about anti-ragging culture. Mostly there will be no clashes between seniors and juniors.
- We have plenty good technical and non-rechnical clubs
- College management is bringing good placements and internships. Also helps students teaching the demand skills through various external platforms.
Dislikes
- I dont like the very strict rules. Some how i felt CVR as school for its strictness.
- CVR is overrated in terms fees structure they are collecting a huge amount but not giving basic infrastructyre
- Inexperciend faculty mostly in labs 70% of the faculty are inexperiend
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very bad even thiugh iam pursuing CSE(AI and ML) we have less exposure to the core Ai and Ml. Most curriculum is outdated and irrelavant. Course curriculum should be updated with latest trends in the technology should avoid outdated and irrelevant curriculum and should focus more on market demands.
Internships Opportunities
Jp margon hires interns every february with a good stipend also gives pre placement offers. There are many other companies gives internships. College is also helping students grabbing internship roles from good tech companies by conductiong coding programes.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year second semester students students are elgible for placements. Mostky service based companies appears for placemnets like wipro,cognizant,TCS,Infosys,accenture Very few product based companies lie amazon,Jp morgan. Highest package is 57.5 LPA 80% placenents. I want to do software engineer job in a good company after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is 1,50,000 per anum few years it is 1,35,000.Bus fees increased from 36000(2023) to 40000 (2024). Hostel fees 1,50,000 with AC 1,25,000 Non AC in previous year it is 1,00,000 Non AC. Semester fees increased from 2000 to 2200 in a year.
Campus Life
We have fests like Ciencia Tech fest(3 days) which will be conducted for every two years. Annual day every year with Dj night. (2 days). We have a big library which is very useful for research and academics. College supports sports by EPL every year and also conducts intra- level competitions. We also plenty of technical and non technical clubs
Admission
Students need to clear TSEAMCET examination to get into this. The reason i chose this college only for the good placement records. I also applied for Sreenidhi and KMIT college i got selected for Sreenidhi college but i chose CVR kver Sreenidhi. I did not slected for KMIT college because of EAMCET rank
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good but these faculty will shift to other branches as semester chsnges. Ahmed shaik he the physics lecturer from first year first semester he is the onky person i saw who has good knowledge about subject and he is very good at explaning a complex topic. There many of those fscukty i dont like the reasons are some of them dont have subject knowledge some of them dont have explanation skills. We have mids,lab internals, lab externals and end semester exams. All of these exams are easy. 5-7% of the people will fails in the exams.
Interview Experience
As iam in second year of the college i did not attend any interviews yet. But as seniors and faculty said interview will be of four rounds first round is about Aptitude and reasoning which is a filtering process and second round is GDs or JAMs or any other things and third round is technical round final HR round
Night Life
We have a small gym but it is enough for simple decent workout. Cafeteria is large and good contains more than 100 items. Taste is very good. We have some strict rules gor hostelers they need to take persmission by the warden to go out and warden wont allow them without their parents permisssion. Cafetaria is a good place to hangout.
