A good college for bright students

This college a good college, a naac A+ grade college, faculties are good, infrastructure are good, have a decent scope for extra curricular activities. But there is Mane places where more improvement needs. Syllabus should be more industry oriented, teaching quality should be improved, some more scope for extra curricular activities, a medical facility, mental health facility will obviously make this college more better

The current course structure in mathematics is very good, the syllabus is so vast and we have a chance to learn a wide variety of things in it. It's very good for higher studies but not so good for having a job. Here in three years we have to sit in 6 semesters and qualify each to get promoted to the next semester

Placement cell exists. Though placement offers from industry is very low. But most of the students goes for higher studies in reputed institution like IIT's,NIT's and central universities. College don't provide any internship to the students. It's a good college for those who want to go for higher studies.

Here we celebrate 'Anandam' our annual cultural program, also anuual sports program, Saraswati puja, Independence day, Republic day celebrated here. And also every department organise their reunion program in every 2 year, a central reunion program also celebrated

The fee structure here is feasible. It's taken semester wise. Subject wise semester fees are different . Basically in arts subject it is 2k-3k per semester and for the science subjects it is 2k-4k per semester. The course fee for BCA and Microbiology is quite expensive.

College provide a fee concession for all needy students. Also books are available for bpl card holders from college book bank. Besides some scholarship are Available for college students. Though the number is insufficient. But college helps students to have governments scholarship from state and central governments . A good number of students get inspire scholarship every year.

Here we have a large central library, besides this some department has its own library system. Labs are good. Though it needs to improved. College encourage it's students to participate in various type of sports, coaches are provided for many sports. And annual sports meet also helds every year.

College have it's own alumni cell. They makes a network between the alumnies and they college. It have alumnies spread all over the world in various universities,in various positions. Also senior students here is helpful. No cases of ragging here.

The faculty here is avarage, some teachers are so good at teaching but in the same time some classes will be boaring. Some teachers personally helps students to perform better. But Huge class size in every semester needs more quality teacher.
