Galgotias college of engineering , a better option among private colleges

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. I got this college because of the bit chill environment and not very strict environment which is why I choose this over GL bajaj i was getting.Although I wanted to go JSS but couldn't go there due to low jee rank. At the same time, I feel there is room for improvement. If the curriculum included more exposure to modern software tools like AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Revit, and Primavera, it would make us more industry-ready. More site visits, practical workshops, and real project case studies would also help us understand how things work outside the classroom. I chose GCET because of its good faculty, modern infrastrcture and active campus life comapred to other colleges i considered. The placement support and industry exposure here seemed better suited for my career goals. The admission process was straightforward, involving merit based elogibilty and timely documentation. I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More
