Course Curriculum Overview
I chose EXTC as I had interest in both electronics and software field. EXTC helps you out learning both in 1 course that's the sole reason. One improvement needed in the course is introducing atleast 2 software subjects and rest core subjects in course. Teaching methods depends on the teachers some are really good at it while some don't really reach the point. Frequency and timings of exams are all good.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are not that good and most of them are for software roles. Placements stats - Accenture - 4.5 lpa JTP - 28Lpa Reliance - 5.5lpa Media.net - 8.13lpa Vector Consulting - 5-6lpa TCS - 3.36-7.02 lpa IndusInd bank - 5lpa Capgemini - 4.25lpa

Campus Life
Campus is small but okayish, Annual fest named Pratishta is held every year in March, we have a huge library, very good Cafeteria which resembles to modern day cafes, good gymnasium and sports room equipped with Carroms, Table tennis, Chess and different time slots for each department to avoid rush. Many clubs are there in college.
Admission
On the list of colleges, I guess Shah & Anchor Kutchi Engineering College stands way ahead of clgs like BVCOE, A.C. Patil College of Engineering, Terna Engineering College, Atharva College of Engineering, Saraswati College of Engineering. I chose this college as it's location is good and ROI is also good. In my opinion SAKEC comes after VESIT, VIT but better than rest colleges of Mumbai in the mid category after VJTI, SPIT, ICT. Though cutoff of Shah & Anchor Kutchi Engineering College is increased from this year probably due to Autonomy.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good, all the facilities are well qualified many of them are PhD holders, teaching staff is very helpful, Many teachers help you out even in non-curricular projects, Teachers go out of the way to help students in academics, College provides academic help to those who want to give exams like Gate by organising Extra lectures on weekends. Exam pattern is not that good after autonomy, there are 100 marks for End semester Practical and Oral exams which scale down to 15 marks, 5 marks for attendance and quizzes, 20 marks for Mid semester exams, Final exams are of 100 marks which scale down to 60 marks but completing 100 marks paper in 3 hours is quite tough, Course curriculum is similar to Mumbai University and is okayish. Everyone apart from 2-3 teaching staff is great.
Night Life
Gym and cafeteria, library is very good although college closes after 5pm. There is no hostel on campus. And the college lies in a residential area so no such hangout places nearby. Though good amount of food joints and restaurants.
Other Applied Colleges
Vivekanand Education Society Institute of Technology - [VESIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Engineering)
Couldn't meet cutoff
