For getting into a medical college in India, you have to appear for the NEET entrance exam and based on its score a merit list is published based on which you are alloted a college, so basically you just have the Choice of setting the order of colleges but can't select one.

The night life is not as such interesting. Because there are not much spots to visit at night. But you can do cafe hopping with 1-3 cafes which are open till midnight. Otherwise the only night life here is going to the hospital for night duties. Also the hostel campus is pretty big, so you can enjoy there at night.
