Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum at Dronacharya College of Engineering is well-structured but leans heavily on theoretical concepts. Core subjects are relevant, especially in Computer Science and IT, with a decent balance of basics and advanced topics. However, the inclusion of more hands-on projects and industry-relevant tools is needed. Exams are frequent and moderately difficult but could be spaced better to reduce pressure. Teaching methods need modernization with interactive approaches. Overall, it’s effective but could better prepare students for real-world challenges.
Placement Experience
Placements at Dronacharya College of Engineering are a strong point. Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. Around 70-80% of students secure placements, primarily in IT and core engineering fields. The highest package often goes up to ?12-15 LPA (mostly in tech roles), while the average package is around ?4-5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are regular recruiters. However, non-IT branches see fewer opportunities, and more diverse company tie-ups would improve employability. For those without placements, pursuing higher studies or off-campus jobs is common.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees for my branch is around 90000 to 100000. This is the total fees to bee paid in an year plus exam fees of around 5000 to be paid every semester to the university.the fees same for all no mater he category.
Campus Life
Campus life at Dronacharya College of Engineering is primarily academic-focused, with minimal emphasis on social aspects. Unfortunately, there are no annual or technical festivals, which limits opportunities for students to showcase their talents or interact beyond academics. Similarly, club activities and sports facilities are almost non-existent, leaving little room for extracurricular engagement. The library is well-stocked with books and journals but lacks digital resources for modern learning. Classrooms are functional but outdated, with limited technological support like smart boards or projectors. The absence of vibrant campus life, student-run clubs, or recreational events impacts the overall student experience, making it more of a study-centric environment than a holistic one.
Admission
I choose it because it is only better option in my area also my jee score was not good . Admission procedure is straight forward you just come and get admission if seats are still empty but if you want cse you have to come early
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is good . Also the relationship is better . The faculty I liked themost is Prof Megha rana . She is very intelligent and her teaching style is I like .the faculty I not like are two mam I becaure of their boring teaching style . One mam come and open projector every time and teaches in very boring style.
Night Life
Nightlife around Dronacharya College of Engineering is minimal and quiet. With no gym and limited options for late-night activities, students mostly unwind in hostels or nearby cafes. The cafeteria and library close by early evening, around 6-7 PM, and public areas on campus are also not accessible late at night. Hostel in-timings are strict, usually around 8-9 PM, restricting outdoor exploration. For hangouts, there are no prominent spots inside the campus. Outside, small eateries and tea stalls nearby serve as gathering spots, but they close early too. The locality is generally safe, though not very lively at night. These limitations make campus life more focused on academics, with little room for recreational or social nightlife.
