Course Curriculum Overview

3

Average not much or not too bad.they should increase practical works more than theory now its like 30% practical and 70% theory like in school we are studying multimedia for practical works more or else during the practical exam we students does not have much idea about what to do

Fees and Financial Aid

Im Studying in Chetana college of media and performance art Thrissur which is under Calicut University,The main problem of this university is they don't have a fixed date for exams at the last moment they postpone the exams and practical exams also they conduct it very late and the result they publish for multimedia is very much late always, Per year the fees is ?48000 which is 24000 per Semester i would not recommend to study in colleges under calicut university

Campus Life

3

No sports events are conducted.mainly there will be short film festival and art exhibition conducted just before the winter break. The name of the event is vividh considered as college annual festival. These program is ran by students

Admission

Didn't apply for any other college, because there was only this college which had BA MULTIMEDIA in Thrissur district,i wanted to take this course so i didn't look for another option. I thought multimedia would be interesting that's why i chose this course

Faculty

2

Some Teachers are good while some teachers are like simply pressuring just because the course we are studying is easy they don't want us to have little free time.Main issue is ego clashes between staffs which is Also affecting the students too.hey only give assignments in the last moment to increase the pressure no matter how much we ask to give the assignments early

Night Life

4

Cafeteria is good College canteen and Sitting places are our hangout places There is no hostel for This college Timings are like elementary school No night life in the college A small library in the campus

The curriculum offers a solid theoratical base, which influenced my decision to choose this course. While it helps with further, its lacks real world exposure and updated content. Exams are held each semester and are moderately difficult beacuse of this, so practical training and teaching methods need improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as because I like English Literature. The student ratio that my class own is about 48 students in total. Majority of the teachers who are posted there are those who have qualified with NET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST). The current HOD is one of the retired Assistant Professor from one of the renowned college around Kozhikode town. Internal exam were timely, but coming to University exams it was so restless. But as if now, it is getting into the track again by conducting exams on time.

Exams are extremely challenging and if we have covered minimum portions we can easily go through them. And any malpractices like attempts are not allowed and would get punished for. I chose for my own interest and have enough fun throughout the time period.
