I give overall 7 out of 10 to the institute yes , I will sure give 10 out of 10 but cut 2 point for food and mess and 1 point I have cut because of placement. Institute has not places any student to any shipping company
Course Curriculum Overview
There is only a institute in Gujarat which has b.tech marine engineering course. There are mainly four exam conduct by department per semester. All are mandatory. Two internal examination (mid sem) , one viva and one external exam
Placement Experience
In the university there are many colleges which has different fields and courses but in the our field (in marine engineering) there is not much higher ratio of placements. Yes , our college is continuesly trying about placement.

U.V.PATEL COLLEGE ENGINEERING is one of the biggest institute In Ganpat University with higher number of students. In the university lots of festivals and events are organised, like : Navratri , youth festival , etcetera.

See the b.tech marine engineering is considere as a one of the most professional course like a pilot. due to that this course is very expansive course. Fees of the four year b.tech Marine engineering is almost ?16,00,000/-(including resident charge)
Fees and Financial Aid
If you got a renk from 1 to 3 in the semester exam then the university will give you some amount of money as a scholarship . Some other scholarship per year is available for SEBC cast. And also if you have done a good score in 12th then you can also eligible for MYSY SCHOLARSHIP
Campus Life
In the institute all lens are available including workshop and ship in campus also for marine engineering's students. Also the swimming pool , cricket ground , football ground , badminton court , and many more are availables .
Hostel Facilities
B.tech Marine engineering is a compulsory residental course as per the rule of DG Shipping. So you must need to live in hostel. Hostel is well ventilated and it has good infrastructure. But one main issue is mess. " THE QUALITY OF FOOD IS VERY LOW LEVEL ... BELOW THE AVERAGE ".
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very supportive and helpful in the institute. They are not do a raging, never every. As per the marine rule you must need to say sir to every senior by the each and every juniors. Alumni association is also there
Faculty
This only a institute of Marine engineering in Gujarat , due to that we have not more sufficient and highly knowledgeable permanent feculty from Gujarat that's why college need to import feculty from other states as a visiting feculty or else as a permanent feculty.
