- One thing I liked is the infrastructure provided by the college and the university. Well maintained buildings and the quality of overall infrastructure is excellent when compared to other colleges in the region.
- College transportation is I would say great.
- The labs provided in the college are good with softwares available to work with.
Dislikes
- Theory based learning is given more weight rather than practical based.
- One common problem is with the electricity and frequent power cuts.
- Some of the professors are just for sake of taking salary.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are preety outdated and not upto the mark with current technologies. Though the college is trying the change the courses and bring latest subject in technologies of the domain in the courses. The course will make you industry ready for a 50-60%. Exams are I would say tough in nature
Internships Opportunities
Mosty the companies which visit for internship offer the job roles with talent recruitment, business development executive, business analyst, software developer, data analyst, cloud engineer, cyber security expert and other technical job roles.
Placement Experience
Students become elegible for placement after the 6th semester. In the 7th semester companies start visiting the college campus for placements. Many companies visited the campus but mostly they were local companies. No MNCs visit the campus. Average packages offered were 3 lakh which is pretty low. Students with 6-7 CGPA were also gettint placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 1,18,000? per year. And in the end semester an extra amount of 4,000? would be taken as convocation fees. This fees is all inclusive. Note that the hostel and food fees is not included in this. Scholarships like MYSY is available which is given by Gujarat governments. Other scholarships are also available for ST/SC/OBC students. Campus Life
Social life in campus is I would say is great. Every year youth fest occurs, Freshers party is organised and technical fest are also organised along with college days and sports days. A big library is available too for the students. Different types of the clubs are also there like culturtal club, joy club, space club, coders club.
Admission
I was selected in Silver Oak university, Karnavati University and Ganpat University. I choose it because the overall reputation and infrastructure of my college was standing out among all. And it really is. Admission in the college is done by merit of 12th standard results and JEE score.
Faculty
Faculty are I would say okayish kind of. Top faculties like head of departments and deans are well qualified and have good knowledge about the domain but assistant professors are not upto the mark. There are in total 2 midsem exams, One practical viva exam at the end of the semester and one external university exam at the end.
Night Life
Late night activities are not really permited due to saftey rules and regulations of the college. Though the mess and cafteria is available as per their timings. Nescafe and a local canteent is present. Dedicated sports complex is also there with gym, swimming pool and other indoor games.
