College is Golden opportunity for youngsters

UVPCE is the turning point of my life. Because on the first day I was unknown to all and now everyone from faculty and juniors knows me. That's the biggest achievement for me. The management is very supportive and helpful they always accept my suggestion and requests and give productive positive results also.

I selected Computer Engineering branch but in first year we have to go thorough with all the subject like mechanical, civil, electronic, electrical, design, chemical. It is because if you are not interested in your branch so you may change it in next year. But for me it is not relevant. So we suggested to the committee to change the course curriculum and the undergo with many review and policies for approval of the new course curriculum. This helps the next student that they will start learning related to the specific branch from the very first day of engineering. The exam structure is well defined. It is divided into two parts internal and external exams. Internal include 40 marks while external or final exams content 60 marks. Now everything is going well from the next batch from us.

The placements is very important face of every students because each and every students are looking for bright future from the college itself. So college has special department for the placements and two subjects are included in our curriculum that is career development and soft skills to make every students eligible for the placements. The past placements experience in Computer and IT students is very good. The average package of last year is 2.6 lac PA. But this year in our batch all got placed during placement drives and the average package is 3 lac PA. There are more that 40 company visited for the campus placement drives. I don't know all the names but these are some companies. Evosys, Codal, Gateway, Silvertouch Technologies, Eubergine solution, Simform, SRKay, Sergen system, Aultum labs, Synoptak, E infochips, and many more. I got placed in Silvertouch Technologies at Ahmedabad with package of 3.6 PA.

Every year one National level techfest is organized by our college named CONVERGENCE, where students from various branches, colleges, University, states to take part in this event. Last year on engineering day 15th September our batch organized this event and I am the central coordinator of the whole event. This is the best experience of my college life. Last year total registration is 2500+ students from different parts of India took part in this event. We also provide them accommodation, food, and transportation facilities for the comfort of the participants. And when they post the happy faces and movement in their stories and posts on social media at that time we feel that our techfest went well.

The fees structure is increasing every year by 5000 rupees. Fees are not much expensive and not so feasible too. But yes the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college is fabulous. Computer Lab, Mechanical workshops, Electrical workshop, Design lab, Robotics labs, Bosch Rexroth lab, and Ship In Campus. This all are the pride of UVPCE. Many college took visit to see the infrastructure and facilities available in the college. Yes college give reason why they are increasing fees and everything is transparent. Our fees is 97500 per year.

Yes scholarship is awarded to the top three performance from every branch. I have applied for education loan and they give approval in next two day only. It makes my work and effort less for filling the loan. College is also gives facilities for MYSY scholarship and other background classes scholarship by government is also available. Average sum of scholarship is provided is approx 50 percentage of the total fees.

The students are from different cities and states of India. There are 18 girls in my class out of 67 students and in other departments like mechanical, electrical there are only 3-6 girls in the class. So it may be 20-80 ratio of girls. College is organising sports week every year where students can show the their sport skill, while workshops are held every second and fourth Saturday of the month in new emerging topics. There is one dedicated lab for robotics named Robocon lab this lab is open for 24×7 for students. Students are participating every year in different techfest, National and international events of robotics. The annual function is organized in between of even semester so that students who are good in acts and drama they can show their skills here.

Yes I enjoyed the hostel facility of the university, the rooms are shared by three students it may from any branch. There are 6 Girls hostel and 8 boys hostel with capacity of three students in one room and 48 rooms in one block and there are three blocks in one hostel. So it's good for the students who are coming from various part of the India. Here one specific hostel for NRI students only. The food and facilities of hostel is very organized. The food is given three times a day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyday there is something new in food for one week. After the menu is repeated in next week. The sweets fruits are given every Sunday and one of week day according to season.

UVPCE has a strong alumni network. College is inviting alumni every year and they share their experience to their colleagues and other seniors so that everyone can connect each other.

My father's friend's son is studying in UVPCE and he told about college and university. So I searched the name of UVPCE in my ACPC booklet (which includes previous year college details like fees, cutoff rank, etc.) After that I got the admission at end of July through ACPC and I visited first time in Ganpat University.

The faculty staff is talented and having at least 1 year of teaching experience. All facilities have completed their masters and cleared the teaching exams after that they have to give interview and some demo lecture to continue the class. Some facilities also from the industry and they share all their experience of the corporate world. The lecture is divided based on the subject credits all subjects at least have 3 credit so there will 3 lecture of one subject in a week. There are total 6 subjects including practicals so college designed the timetable according to facilities available have best of their knowledge and experience.
