I just love my college .I have lots of fun every day .I forgot tosay second year you will be having college trip .we this year have north India tour .Work hard during +1 +2 and get here and have full fun and acquire knowledge through out 5 years of course

It is very long course .5 1/2 years is total time required during first year we will be having core subjects you need to pass for sure otherwise you won't be promoted .From next year postings I mean hospital visits start and there will be 2 internals and one prefinal nd one final exam every year.

Placement Experience

It is must to do one year internship.in our college they will be giving nearly 20000 stipend...I can't describe well as I am still in 2 nd year but internship will have both day nd night shifts ..out patient is very good.You need to apply for jobs separately no placements provided here.

College Events

FUN part we will be having biggest event every year the FEST.It is named beats .it will be organized in month of September mostly and it is 7-9 days event.sports competition are also conducted.Then we will have fresher's party for 1st year students .Gratitude party for faculty .Youth day celebrations.many minor events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is government college so fee is affordable .it is 10500 per year..for total course it costs you around 60000.you need to buy books separately. It costs you about 6/7 thousand.So fee is feasible and scholarship facilities are also available.

Fees and Financial Aid

E pass is the scholarship provided be government of Telangana.we need to apply for that before last date and college fee hostel fee will be returned back.loan facilities are not provided by college you need to apply in bank separately.

Campus Life

Labs will be regularly conducted every week . There is excellent talent in osmania. If you visit osmania in eveng time you find all students in the ground and courts playing sports. We have tennis court .It is fun playing there.Dance singing and drama are regular practiced

Yes, we have a separate alumini block ..old students do lots of work to the college.They help in renovation of college ..now you can see a perfect medical college in the heart of Hyderabad due to they efforts.

All are not really good at teaching but most of them are over flowing with knowledge and experience.every department has few soooperb faculty .Their lectures are Soo good nd understanding.boring lectures are filled with fun by chit chatting mobiles games

I loved the campus ,its soooooo green and peaceful,
Ig compared to other clgs,teaching here is better
I feel very safe inside the campus ,but its too strict

Dislikes

Over strictness,u will have curfew ,u are not allowed to go out of the campus without permissions,u have to wear uniform,too many restrictions
I feel that the management should have more coordination
Restrictions, u are not allowed to bring phones to the classrooms ,if found u will have 10k fine

Well Our faculty does tell us their personal experiences while explaining topics And Coming to timings for exams Well U will have to write many slip tests and assignments And u will have to pass ur internals to write proff exams

Likes

The hospitals affiliated to medical college have an excellent patient flow, there are 4 hospitals of malla Reddy in the campus, there's a Narayana multi-speciality hospital, mother & child care hospital, malla Reddy hospital and cancer hospital.
There are more than sufficient sports activities available at the college, there is a huge football ground and cricket ground, turf, basketball court badminton court and table tennis
The food in the mess is really great, non-veg food is served daily, there are a lot of food stalls of cafes and other major brands inside the campus like Barista. The lecture halls, practical labs and classrooms are well maintained and spacious.

Dislikes

The vegetarian dishes made in lunch usually suck, but I'd say in comparison to other hostels, the hostel of this college serves edible food, but in comparison to non veg dishes the vegetarian dishes don't taste that good, so veg people face problems
There's a lot of construction going on in the campus as of now, which makes the campus look aesthetically non-pleasing, but it's only for the time being as it recently got converted to deemed University they are upping the standard of the infra.
The hostel room given to some of the boys are relatively bad to the other hostel rooms. We weren't given tables, cupboards and chairs when we arrived at hostel, after a month we were provided all the basic necessities.

Likes

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified and way of teaching is impressive
Infrastructure is very well developed and new with well equipped lab and refreshment areas.
Connectivity from various major citiea are easy as college is just 2 hrs away from Vijayawada and Hyderabad

Dislikes

Climate us very hard to adjust with. Its mostly dry and hot
Local language is a bit hard to learn and most locals are very less educated
Syllabus is very vast and so there are very regular classes which feels quite tiring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

It’s just college life

Likes

It has an equal boys to girls ratio and gives us many opportunities to interact and also learn from my classmates. The playgrounds are always available and it has space to walk. The hostel is comfortable and it provides us with healthy food.
The teachers are very helpful in answering doubts and also even if we approach them for basic problems like even hot water they help us lead to the solution and make us believe everything is okay or soon will be fine.
The friends I have made help me from getting overwhelmed when I am homesick and also study with me which gives all of us confidence.

Dislikes

As I have dust activity it actually is a bit of a problem due to the construction work going on and there is dust everywhere but the classes are provided with Acs which help me deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.

The college environment is so pleasant and proper.
The ground here is the biggest in the whole state. CCC. CNN Bb. CC. By no.
Faculty is so supportive and the Principal here gives you freedom to do the things you love. Bb. By CC BB.

Dislikes

There is no much thing that I disliked here..as of now.. be v ci ci Cc. C
Boys hostel facilities like warm water..clothes washing is a difficult one. Bb CC CV by. BB. Bb v. Va be.
Have fun in the college..do not leave your days which are once gone..you can’t have them back.

Expectations and the experience!

Likes

First thing is here,In our college there are very strict rules.
Discipline is considered first here in CAIMS.
The faculty is very serious about studies.

Dislikes

I don't like the food in mess , the food is not worth the fee in my opinion.
We don't have many parties or any celebrations,we only have fest and DGM once in a year.
There were no outings every week ,we have to take permission every time we go home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.

I also applied for Gandhi medical College,kakatiya medical College and esi medical College for obgy post graduation. I choose osmania as my first option because 1) we get many chances to do lscs than other colleges mentioned above as per my research of colleges. 2)i completed my mbbs from osmania,so Im well versed with the conditions of hospital. Then I opted for Gandhi as 2nd option because Gandhi medical College also has good amount of exposure and facilities are better than osmania medical College as it is new college in comparison to osmania. Gandhi medical College has advantage of getting high risk cases mainly.you will get privilage to various other cases in obstetrics.But the hands on is less than osmania. As a pg in surgical branch we need to have more hands on than exposure to high risk cases.
